The Magic will start the season with a home game against Miami Heat.

The National Basketball Association released its 2025-26 schedule today and announced the Orlando Magic will open the season on Wednesday, October 22 at Kia Center against Miami. Game time is 7 p.m.
It will be the Magic’s eighth all-time opening-night meeting against the Miami Heat and the sixth time they will host the Heat to tip off a regular season. Last year, down in Miami, the Magic defeated their Sunshine State rivals on opening night behind 33 points from Paolo Banchero and 23 from Franz Wagner. This year’s opening-night clash will take place 2 ½ weeks after they square off in an exhibition in Puerto Rico.
Single-game tickets for the 2025-26 season go on sale on Friday, August 15 at 1 p.m. and will be available online at OrlandoMagic.com/tickets, at the Kia Center box office (located on Church Street), or via Ticketmaster at Ticketmaster.com/Magic. Orlando Magic season tickets, partial plans, group and single-game Kia Center suite rental opportunities are on sale now. For additional ticket information, log on to OrlandoMagic.com or call 407-89-MAGIC.
Orlando opens training camp on September 30 at the AdventHealth Training Center. The Magic’s complete schedule is available through their official website, OrlandoMagic.com, while the entire NBA schedule can be found at NBA.com.
Orlando will have 14 games featured on national television – three on NBC/Peacock (November 4 @ Atlanta, November 25 @ Philadelphia and March 24 @ Cleveland), three on ESPN/ESPN App (November 12 @ New York, March 11 vs. Cleveland and April 1 vs. Atlanta), four on Peacock (December 1 vs. Chicago, January 26 @ Cleveland, February 9 vs. Milwaukee and March 16 @ Atlanta) and four on Amazon Prime (January 15 vs. Memphis in Berlin, Germany, January 18 @ Memphis in London, England, February 26 vs. Houston and March 7 @ Minnesota). Games not exclusively on a national platform will be televised and streamed on FanDuel Sports Network Florida, which is available throughout the Magic’s local TV territory. Further details about Orlando’s local television schedule will be announced at a later date. Games can also be heard on the Orlando Magic Audio Network (flagship: FM 96.9 The Game).
Orlando will play six games in October (three home, three away), 14 games in November (seven home, seven away), 12 games in December (five home, seven away) not including the Emirates NBA Cup 2025 Knockout Rounds (see below), 13 games in January (seven home, including one in Berlin, six away, including one in London), 11 games in February (five home, six away), 17 games in March (10 home, seven away) and seven games in April (three home, four away).
The Emirates NBA Cup 2025 will tip off on Friday, October 31 and culminate with the playing of the Semifinals (Saturday, December 13) and Championship (Tuesday, December 16) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The Emirates NBA Cup 2025 will consist of two stages: Group Play and the Knockout Rounds. In Group Play, each team will play four designated Group Play games – one game against each opponent in its group, with two games at home and two on the road – on “Cup Nights,” which will take place every Tuesday and Friday from October 31-November 28. The only NBA games played on Cup Nights will be Group Play games.
Orlando’s Emirates NBA Cup 2025 Group Play games are Friday, November 7 vs. Boston, Friday, November 14 vs. Brooklyn, Tuesday, November 25 @ Philadelphia (NBC) and Friday, November 28 @ Detroit.
Eight teams will advance to the Knockout Rounds: the team with the best standing in Group Play games in each of the six groups and two “wild cards” (the team from each conference with the best record in Group Play games that finished second in its group). The Knockout Rounds will consist of single-elimination games in the Quarterfinals (played in NBA team markets on Tuesday, December 9 and Wednesday, December 10) and Semifinals and Championship (played in Las Vegas on December 13 and December 16, respectively). The Knockout teams will compete for a prize pool and the Emirates NBA Cup.
During the Knockout Rounds on days when Emirates NBA Cup games are not scheduled (December 11-12 and December 14-15), the 22 teams that do not qualify for the Knockout Rounds will each play two regular season games. The four teams that lose in the Quarterfinals will each play a regular season game on either December 14 or December 15 against the opponent in their same conference.

Orlando will play a total of 17 home games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday this season. The 2025-26 Magic schedule also features 14 back-to-back contests (28 games played on consecutive nights; five away/away back-to-backs, two home/away back-to-backs, two away/home back-to-back and five home/home back-to-backs).
The Magic will have two season-long four-game homestands – February 5-11 (seven days) and February 26-March 5 (eight days). Orlando will be on a season-long five-game road trip from October 27-November 4 (nine days).
The Magic will get to showcase their team on the world stage, in not just one European country, but two. First, they will head to Berlin, Germany to play the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday, Jan. 15. This will be a homecoming of sorts for the Wagner brothers, who were born and raised in Berlin. It will be the first time ever a regular season NBA game will be held in Germany. From there, both the Magic and Grizzlies will travel to London, England for a rematch on Sunday, Jan. 18. This will be the second time the Magic will be in London. They were there for two preseason games in 1993 against the Hawks and for a regular season game in 2016 against the Raptors. It will be the NBA’s 10th all-time regular season game in London.
Every team hopes to be well-represented at NBA All-Star Weekend. It’s a good sign when that is the case. If that applies to the Magic this year, we could see players do quite a bit of cross-country traveling. Coming out of All-Star festivities, which will take place in Los Angeles this season, the Magic will begin a four-game West Coast trip on Thursday, Feb. 19 in Sacramento. The other stops on that journey include Phoenix and L.A., where they will play both the Clippers and Lakers.
Orlando’s home regular season finale will be Wednesday, April 8 vs. Minnesota (7 p.m. start). The Magic close the 2025-26 regular season on Sunday, April 12 @ Boston (6 p.m.).
The end of the last two regular seasons were completely different for the Magic. In 2024, they hosted the Bucks in a game that determined their playoff fate. They went on to win that game, securing a postseason berth. In 2025, already locked into their playoff spot, the Magic went on the road for what were basically exhibition games in Indianapolis and Atlanta. We’ll see how things play out this year, when the Magic wrap up their regular season on the road again – with the games in Chicago and Boston.
