Orlando International Airport opens new Parking Lots as Busy Holiday Travel Season takes off!

Great news for travelers flying from Orlando International Airport this holiday season, as the airport opens two new surface parking lots.

Orlando International Airport opens two new Parking Lots

After a successful soft opening during the busy Thanksgiving holiday travel period, Orlando International Airport (MCO) is officially opening two new parking lots today to the general public. The lots, located directly in front of the Train Station, will add an additional 515 spaces to the more than 20,000 spaces already available at MCO.

Lots 2 and 3 will be open only to E-Pass and SunPass customers. A transponder must be used to enter and exit.

“Changes in travel patterns along with record airport traffic has facilitated a need for additional parking on airport property,” says Kevin Thibault, CEO, Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “It is our hope that these additional lots, along with a third lot that is nearing completion, will help ease some parking congestion during the upcoming Christmas holiday season.”

To access the lots coming from the north, follow signs to Terminal B and then South Exit. At Station Loop Road, located across from the Travel Plaza, make a right. Follow Station Loop Road to Surface Lot 2, which is adjacent to the Train Station. To access Surface Lot 3, keep straight.

The new lots provide easy access to all terminals and the Train Station. Cost for the new lot is $20 per day with the first ten minutes free.
