Downtown Kissimmee CRA approves incentive to revitalize the historic former bank building at 30 Broadway into Nosso Quintal Brazilian Bar & Grill.

Nosso Quintal Brazilian Bar & Grill is a new culturally immersive bar and restaurant coming to downtown Kissimmee, designed to bring the spirit of Brazil to life through music, art, and shared social experiences.
Set to open in the historic former bank building at 30 Broadway in downtown Kissimmee, the new restaurant is Inspired by the traditional Brazilian “quintal” (backyard), the concept centers on community, celebration, and connection, offering guests an authentic glimpse into Brazilian culture.

The concept will offer live performances, curated events, and vibrant design elements, creating an engaging, high-energy atmosphere for both locals and visitors.
While the food and beverage program will highlights traditional Brazilian flavors, skewers, and cocktails, the primary focus is on delivering a dynamic cultural destination that contributes to the vitality of downtown Kissimmee.

The new restaurant is being helped by the Downtown Kissimmee Community Redevelopment Agency (DKCRA) who has approved a $76,000 Pioneer Project Incentive Program (PPIP) grant for the redevelopment of 30 Broadway, an underutilized legacy masonry structure that previously served as a bank.
The project will convert the building into a 3,020-square-foot restaurant operated by Souza & Martins Savory Bites, doing business as Nosso Quintal Brazilian Bar & Grill.
The investment qualifies for the Pioneer Project Incentive Program because it will:
Introduce a unique destination hospitality concept to the Downtown Kissimmee market.
Modernize outdated building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life-safety infrastructure, while preserving the building’s historic concrete bank vault.
Generate substantial downtown foot traffic and engagement via monthly public events, outdoor activations, and themed programming.
Create an estimated 25–40 full-time and part-time jobs.

The Pioneer Project Incentive Program is designed to encourage catalytic investments in the Downtown Kissimmee CRA district. This project expands the dining options, celebrates cultural diversity, increases foot traffic, and contributes to the continued revitalization of Downtown Kissimmee.
Under the PPIP policy, grant awards are capped at 10 percent of eligible tangible construction costs. Staff determined eligible costs to be $760,000, resulting in a $76,000 award, which will be paid as a single reimbursement after the project receives a Certificate of Occupancy and the developer submits verified proof of payment.
About the Program:
Property and business owners with projects in the Downtown Kissimmee CRA boundary may apply for PPIP funding. Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis based on capital investment, job creation, and alignment with the CRA Master Redevelopment Plan.
