New nighttime show at Universal Orlando will include Drones - Resort seeks Drone Operations Manager

Recently there has been much speculation about the new nighttime show that Universal Orlando Resort is planning for the lagoon at Universal Studios Florida, and what it will include.

Ever since Universal dropped Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration at Universal Studios Florida last month to make way for the new nighttime spectacular, many have said that the new show will include drones.

This has been backed up with sightings of multiple drones being tested late at night after the park closes to the public.

In the testing above Universal Studios Florida, drones with multi-coloured LED lighting have been used to create very large multiple shapes including fish, triangles, squares, and human figures.

Now further proof that drones will be included in the show is the fact that Universal Orlando is now hiring a full-time Associate Project Manager for drone operations.
