New attraction in the works at LEGOLAND Florida with Flying School Family Coaster to be removed

The popular Flying School roller coaster at LEGOLAND Florida is being removed from the park!

LEGOLAND Florida Resort have revealed that the ever popular Flying School roller coaster will make its final flight on August 16, National Roller Coaster Day.

The park say the ride is being removed to make way for a new experience, although they did not reveal what the new experience will be, or a timeline for when we can expect it to open.

The Flying School coaster pre-dates LEGOLAND Florida itself, with the Vekoma manufactured suspended family coaster opening at Cypress Gardens as Swamp Thing in 2004.

While you and the kids get one last ride on the Flying School coaster at LEGOLAND Florida Resort, you can enjoy the return of the parks Summer Block Party.

This year families will enjoy mind-blowing snacks, games, entertainment, and a BRICKTASTIC fireworks show, all of which are included with general park admission and some Annual Passes.

Don’t miss the new high-energy performance Go Xtreme!, inspired by the famous show LEGO City, which features gnarly extreme sports feats that will have spectators on the edge of their seats.

Plus, your groove and have a good time at the Summer Beats Bash DJ dance party.

This year the Rhythm Bricks’ interactive percussion experience continues, surprising families with performances throughout the Park. And, of course, take advantage of the Resort’s tastiest limited-time summer eats.
