EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival
August 29 to November 23, 2024

it wouldn’t be the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival without the FOOD! Foodie fans can look forward to so many mouthwatering returning favorites.  As evening falls, chart-topping musical acts and Orlando’s top talent will take to the stage as part of the Eat to the Beat Concert Series presented by Florida Blue. Performances will take place nightly in the America Gardens Theatre. On the scavenger hunt front, guests can purchase a map for Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak and search to find their favorite little chef hidden throughout World Showcase.  


Halloween Horror Nights At Universal Orlando Resort

Howl-O-Scream At SeaWorld Orlando

A new terror has surfaced, and there’s nowhere to hide. Howl-O-Scream has washed ashore at SeaWorld Orlando, and this time, the fear is everywhere. A separately-ticketed event.

Tampa’s premier Halloween event is back! Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream returns to Tampa Bay in full force, taking over the entire park with haunted houses, scare zones, sinister shows and more. Fiesta Aquatica at SeaWorld Orlando

Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month at Fiesta Aquatica! This fun-filled, festive event happens Select days, Sept. 7 - Oct. 13. June 12

The U.S. Men’s National Team will take on world power Brazil in the second edition of the Allstate Continental Clásico on June 12 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.


Department of Defense Warrior Games
June 21 - 30

The Department of Defense Warrior Games is an annual event, first held in 2010, that celebrates the resiliency and dedication of wounded, ill, and injured active duty and veteran U.S. military service members. From June 21-30, 2024, the DoD Warrior Games will return to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando.


CONMEBOL Copa América 2024
June 29 & July 1

CONMEBOL Copa América 2024 is coming to 14 stadiums across the U.S. this summer with two matches at Inter&Co Stadium. Chile and Canada will face each other on June 29, with Bolivia and Panama taking to the field on July 1.


The 2024 Leagues Cup
July 26 & August 4

Orlando City Soccer Club will host two matches of the opening round of the 2024 Leagues Cup at Inter&Co Stadium. They include a game against fellow MLS side CF Montréal on July 26, followed by a match vs. Liga MX side Atlético de San Luis on Aug. 4.


FC Series 2024: Barcelona vs. Manchester City
July 30

Three-time reigning Premier League champions Manchester City faces off against Spanish powerhouse Barcelona in this FC Series match at Camping World Stadium. The friendly marks the fourth consecutive year that Orlando has hosted top European teams as part of the FC Series.

Sum 41
September 24

Grammy-nominated band Sum 41 has announced their last headlining world tour, ‘Tour Of The Setting Sum.’ The massive farewell tour incudes a stop in Orlando when the band will take to the stage at the Orlando Amphitheater on September 24.  The band will be joined by The Interrupters as support.

India Fest Apopka
June 9

India Fest Apopka is the best exhibition of Indian Heritage, Culture, Dance, Music and Food to bring everyone together. More than 100 Booths will be offering unique arts and crafts.


49 Bells Ceremony
June 12

Taking place at First United Methodist Church of Orlando, the tolling of the bells is part of “Acts of Love and Kindness,” a One Orlando Alliance movement grown out of the spirit of giving and good deeds witnessed in the aftermath of the Pulse tragedy.


The movement inspires the Orlando community and beyond to engage in volunteerism, share stories and show support through acts of love and kindness. For more information on this day of remembrance events, click here.


Pulse Remembrance Ceremony
June 12

Community leaders, first responders and the families of the victims and survivors of the Pulse tragedy will come together at Dr. Phillips Center for an annual remembrance ceremony hosted by the City of Orlando.   


The Remembrance Ceremony allows our community to come together every year on the evening of June 12 to honor and remember the 49 angels taken, their families, the survivors, first responders, trauma teams and all those impacted by the tragedy.    


Admission is free but a ticket is required to attend the event. More information about the event and how to obtain a ticket can be found here. If you are unable to attend in person, you can also livestream the ceremony via the Pulse Orlando website.


1887 Juneteenth Celebration Week
June 14 - 19

The 1887 Juneteenth Celebration Week will take place on June 14 - 19, 2024 in the Historic Town of Eatonville FL. Our theme this year is “Empowering Resilience, Celebrating Freedom, and Reclaiming our Unity”.


Events will feature a Youth STEAM explosion, senior citizen celebration, vendors, entertainment, Father’s Day specials and so much more. This weekend will provide an opportunity for members of our community to learn about the significance of Juneteenth and celebrate the achievements and contributions of African Americans throughout history.

4th Annual Juneteenth – A Freedom Festival

The 4th Annual Juneteenth Festival celebrates Juneteenth with motivational speakers, a DJ, entertainment, a large variety of vendors, and a few food trucks.  Considering the construction of Ft. The PWRTRC 2024 Juneteenth Literacy Music Festival
June 15

The Phyllis Wheatley Rise to Read Campaign will be hosting a Juneteenth Music Festival from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Albert Whitted Park, 480 Bayshore Drive, in St. Petersburg. Children ages 0 to 12 are free!


The live outdoor concert will feature headliner Shawn Brown, Tampa’s very own Beat Down Band, St. Petersburg-born artist Siobhan Monique, and Grammy Nominated, 3x NAACP Image Award nominated and BILLBOARD charting artist Nathan Mitchell. In addition, there will be a special Kids Corner with several activities for children of all ages, including a playground, face painting, a hockey shooting rink hosted by our very own Tampa Bay Lightning, and more.


Juneteenth In Winter Park: Jazz & Jubilee A Night Under The Stars

We are excited to announce our Second Annual Juneteenth Celebration in Winter Park, "A Night Under the Stars: Jazz & Jubilee at Shady Park," on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 5 to 10 pm! Join us for a memorable evening featuring live jazz music, delicious food, spirits, and a night of jubilee under the stars, sponsored by The City of Winter Park and The Equity Council Corp., a Black-owned and operated nonprofit serving the citizens of Hannibal Square since 2018.


Our event will be held at Shady Park, a beautiful outdoor venue perfect for a summer celebration. Guests will enjoy a night of live music from some of the best jazz musicians in the area and performances from artists and dancers. We'll also have a selection of food vendors serving delicious bites and spirits and retail vendors showcasing some of the best cultural wear, custom jewelry, art, and much more so guests can support Black-owned Businesses on such a momentous occasion.


4th Annual Lunch and Learn: A BTGM Juneteenth Event

We're thrilled to announce that the 3rd annual Juneteenth Lunch and Learn at the Orlando Rep on June 15 from 2-6p is being presented in partnership with the Florida Theatre Association and the Florida Repertory Theatre! This family-friendly event is free and open to all, and includes a delicious BBQ lunch, engaging readings of children’s books about Juneteenth, face painting, a DJ bubble party by DJ Jaé and other exciting activities.


Bring the whole family and enjoy a fun-filled day of learning and celebration, made possible by our generous sponsors. 4th Annual Facets of Freedom: A Celebration of Juneteenth
June 19

Join us for a night of remembrance and celebration of the contributions of Black culture in the arts as we commemorate Juneteenth, the historic national holiday that marks the end of slavery in the United States. Facets of Freedom 2024 will take place on June 19, 2024 at the Orlando Family Stage, starting at 7pm.


This interdisciplinary arts event will be a time for us to reflect on our history, celebrate our vibrant community, and honor the sacrifices of those who came before us. As a community of artists, we believe in the power of creativity and expression to inspire change and bring people together.


We will have musical performances, dance, and spoken word that showcase the richness of African American artistry and the resilience of our community. In addition, we will have a visual art exhibit featuring Black Central Florida artists, giving you an opportunity to appreciate their unique talents and perspectives as well as purchase local Black artwork.


Florida Festival of New Musicals
June 20 - 23

The Florida Festival of New Musicals at Winter Park Playhouse is a 4-day event that will showcase six new musical works and bring together writers and composers with patrons, press, producers and directors. A one-hour version of each selected musical will be fully read and sung concert-style, without staging, by varying casts of professional actors and musicians.


Audiences will have the unique and exciting opportunity to see musicals in the early stages of development and provide feedback about the new musical after the reading.


Hello, Dolly!
June 21 - 24

Tony Nominee and Disney Legend Jodi Benson brings love and laughter in Encore Performing Arts’ production of Hello, Dolly! The iconic musical, born from Thornton Wilder's classic farce, is a jubilant ride through turn-of-the-century New York, filled with the wit and wisdom of the indomitable Dolly Gallagher Levi. Josephine: A Burlesque Cabaret Dream Play
June 21 - 23

Before Ella, Tina, Billie, or Beyoncé – there was JOSEPHINE Josephine, a burlesque cabaret dream play is an international award-winning one-woman biographical musical that combines cabaret, theatre and dance to tell the story of the iconic Josephine Baker, the first African-American international superstar and one of the most remarkable figures of the 20th Century. Josephine has won over 20 awards across several continents, and had a successful off-Broadway run in 2018.  Tymisha Harris stars in this dazzling retelling of Josephine Baker’s revolutionary life as singer, movie star, WWII spy, civil rights activist, and cultural icon at Dr Phillips Center.

Juneteenth Freedom Festival
June 29

Come join the Juneteenth Freedom Festival at the Simpson Park Community Center on Martin L King Junior Avenue in Lakeland for a day of celebration and reflection. This in-person event will feature live music, food vendors, historical exhibits, and more. Let's come together to honor the significance of Juneteenth and commemorate the end of slavery in the United States. 153rd Silver Spurs Rodeo
May 31 - June 1

Watch bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, team roping, steer wrestling, and women's barrel racing at the 153rd Silver Spurs Rodeo. In between the seven traditional events, you’ll also see acts throughout the night from our rodeo clown, witness a performance from our Junior Silver Spurs Quadrille Team, and see junior bull riders and barrel racers compete in the arena!


Dive-In Movies At Island H2O
Fridays, May 31 - July 26

Every Friday between May 31 - July 26 at 6 pm, at Island H2O catch the coolest flicks under the stars at Central Florida's largest outdoor digital wave pool screen. Enjoy dive-in movies, where you can splash and watch your favorite family films at the wave pool.


Pineapple Festival

Venardos Circus

On select dates this summer, from June 22 - August 17, Westgate Resorts and Venardos Circus presents a one-of-a-kind, limited-run summertime circus spectacular directly outside the gates of Westgate Town Center, Westgate Vacation Villas and Westgate Towers Resorts located off Highway 192 in Kissimmee, Opening on June 22 and running through August 17, Venardos Circus will present dazzling, 90-minute Broadway-style performances every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 8 pm, alongside double showtimes at 5 pm and 8 pm each Saturday and Sunday.

Monster Jam
August 3 - 4

The most unexpected, unscripted and unforgettable motorsports experience for families and fans in the world returns for an adrenaline-charged weekend at Orlando’s Kia Center for three shows August 3 (1 p.m. & 7 p.m.) and August 4 (1 p.m.).  At Monster Jam, world champion athletes and their 12,000-pound monster trucks tear up the dirt in wide-open competitions of speed and skill.

 Mickey and pals are rocking the DJ table at Disney On Ice and you’re on the guest list! Feel the electric atmosphere as they remix favorite Disney tunes into colorful worlds. Wish upon a star with Asha as she and Valentino save the Kingdom of Rosas from King Magnifico. Roar with delight as Simba, Timon and Pumbaa step into the spotlight. Moon Over Avalon Mid-Autumn Festival 2024

The Pride Cup

As part of the KindRED Pride Foundation, The Pride Cup is an annual LGBTQ+ multi-sport competition held during Gay Disney weekend – the first weekend in June in Orlando. The KindRED Pride Foundation believe in the Power of Kindness and believe in the Power of RED.  The red in the pride flag represents life. The original organizers chose this color in order to recognize other “kindred spirits” at that first gathering.


What better way to kick off Pride Month than all “kind” people around the world wearing RED as a celebration of life in all of its different colors, shapes, sizes, genders, orientations, nationalities, ages, abilities, and status – where the only real question is “Are you kind or are you not kind?”

Orlando Sings presents Considering Mathew Shepard
June 1 - 2

Composed by Craig Hella Johnson, Considering Matthew Shepard is a Grammy-nominated three-part oratorio which is an evocative and compassionate musical response to the murder of Matthew Shepard.


On October 6, 1998, Matthew Shepard, a University of Wyoming student, was kidnapped, beaten, and left to die, in what became an infamous act of brutality, and one of America’s most notorious anti-gay hate crimes. Considering Matthew Shepherd responds to and reflects upon the devastating events that led to Matthew Shepard's heartbreaking death.


Through music, poetry, and singing this piece demonstrates that his life and legacy are more than his inhumane suffering and demise. Reflections on Matthews legacy are compassionately explored in this groundbreaking work. Orlando Sings’ professional ensemble, Solaria, will present this work, fully staged, in the Pugh Theater with chamber orchestra, soloists and projections.


Orlando Gay Chorus Presents The Gay Agenda: Revealed

In this powerful concert experience, You Learn that Some of My Best Friends Are Straight, but This is Me…A Change Is Gonna Come… and We Will Rise Up Together!


Be there for this heartfelt (and hit-filled) concert experience, held in the stunning Steinmetz Hall.


Art With A Purpose at Orlando Museum Of Art

Guests will tour the museum’s galleries and explore powerful queer stories, identities, and artists from OMA’s permanent collection before engaging in a reflective art journaling workshop with a queer teaching artist. CommUNITY Rainbow Run

The annual CommUNITY Rainbow Run, now in its 8th year, is a celebration of how following the Pulse tragedy, our community came together in love and how we continue to be Orlando United.


At the CommUNITY Rainbow Run, which this year is Saturday, June 8, 2024, we unite to honor the 49 angels, their families, the survivors, first responders and all those impacted.   


The 8th Annual CommUNITY Rainbow Run presented by the City of Orlando and Orlando Health is more than just a race, this is a celebration of our community's resilience and love.


Proud In The Cloud

A FREE community event where ALL are welcome. Celebrate St. Cloud’s love & diversity at this year’s Proud in the Cloud! Featuring food trucks, entertainment, and local businesses at Lakefront park from 12 - 6 pm. Entertainment includes: Twila Holiday, Mya Buena Matthews, Cherilyn Matthews, TikTak Holiday, and Mocha Sky.


A History of LGBTQ Resilience in Central Florida
June 9

In this program, David Matteson, a past Board president of the LGBTQ History Museum of Central Florida, will survey the history of the LGBTQ community in the region by focusing on moments of progress, resistance, and resilience.


In the wake of the tragic shooting at Pulse nightclub in 2016, demonstrations of love and support centralized around the LGBTQ community. Yet no matter how many rainbow flags fly in The City Beautiful, queer individuals have not always been welcomed. Our history includes moments when showing one’s pride sparked protest and times when political progress prompted regressive discrimination. By turning to the past, we may better understand the LGBTQ community’s resilience – a quality for which we should all be proud. This program is free with registration.


Central Florida Sounds of Freedom Presents Peace by Piece
June 9

Under the overarching theme of “Build a Better Tomorrow,” CFSOF’s “Peace by Piece” aims to instill a sense of hope and optimism through the universal language of music. Featuring a carefully curated selection of pieces, the concert will weave together melodies that reflect both the nostalgia of the past and the aspirations for a brighter future.


The musical program includes stirring compositions such as “Bring to Light,” “I Dreamed a Dream,” and the iconic “Strike up the Band.” Each piece has been chosen deliberately to evoke emotions of reflection, inspiration, and unity among the audience.


“As we navigate through the complexities of our modern world, it becomes increasingly important to foster connections and understanding through shared experiences,” says Dr. Lindsey Williams, Artistic Director of CFSOF. “Through ‘Peace by Piece,’ we invite our audience to join us on a journey of reconciliation and hope, where each musical note serves as a building block towards a more harmonious tomorrow.” This show takes place in the Pugh Theater.


The 2024 Zebra Youth Pride Prom
June 14

The 2024 Zebra Youth Pride Prom will be held at The Plaza Live (425 N. Bumby Ave) on Friday, June 14, from 6 - 8 pm for ages 13 - 17, and from 9 - 11 pm for ages 18 - 34.


The theme is Masquerade, and the dress code is semi-formal to formal. All forms of gender expression are welcomed. The event is free with a suggested donation of $15 to Zebra Youth.

This patriotic summer blowout party is not to be missed, with roaming live entertainers, an incredible lineup of food trucks, carnival games, and a spectacular evening laser light show that will dazzle and delight.


Rock Freedom & Fireworks in Longwood
June 29

The City of Longwood presents Rock, Freedom & Fireworks, the fourth annual Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, June 29th at Reiter Park featuring live music from Switch - Back to the 80's, over 15 food trucks, a full bar, vendors, and the best fireworks show in town! Free admission and parking for the event are located at the back parking lot of Orlando Health South Seminole, Longwood City Hall Complex, and the Longwood Sunrail Station. The fireworks show begins at 9 pm.


Red Hot & Boom

The City of Altamonte Springs is pulling out all the stops for the most spectacular party of the season at  Cranes Roost Park, Altamonte Springs. Red Hot & Boom is celebrating 27 years of legendary live music, food, family, friends and firework-filled fun.

Join Mount Dora in Elizabeth Evans Park for Freedom on the Water, an old-fashion celebration of our Independence Day.

Fireworks at the Fountain

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer invites you to the 47th Annual Fireworks at the Fountain on Thursday, July 4 at Lake Eola Park. From 4 to 10 pm, enjoy live entertainment, family friendly fun, and food and beverages available for purchase from a variety of vendors.


At 9:10 pm., the sky will illuminate with a spectacular fireworks finale, set to a live patriotic performance by the Orlando Concert Band


The City of Winter Garden Party in the Park & Fireworks 2024

The City of Winter Garden presents Party in the Park, one of the best fireworks shows in Central Florida! Party in the Park is a FREE event for the community.


The SPECTACULAR fireworks display is over Lake Apopka and preshow entertainment includes live music, family activities, and more for all ages. Festivities begin at 6 pm. and the Fireworks Show starts at 9:15 pm.


July 4th Celebrations at Old Town Kissimmee

Celebrate the Red, White, and Blue with free fireworks at the July 4th Celebrations presented by Old Town and Fun Spot America Kissimmee. Bring the family for an entire day of fun including streetmosphere entertainment and live music on the Old Town Main Stage featuring Rocktown from 6 pm - 10 pm. Free Fireworks begin at 9 pm from the top of the buildings of Old Town.


2024 Monumental 4th of July

The City of Kissimmee’s Annual Monumental 4th of July Celebration features live performances on the Festival Lawn, KUA kid’s zone on the Veterans Lawn, food trucks, beverage concessions, and a grand fireworks display to close out the night!


Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. Event will start at 7 pm with fireworks anticipated to take place at 10 pm.

Head to downtown Mount Dora for the Independence Day Parade, a patriotic tribute parade celebrating our country's independence! The City of Mount Dora is seeking entries for the annual Independence Day Parade in beautiful downtown Mount Dora.


The parade begins at the corner of Donnelly and 7th Avenue and runs to Charles Avenue.


The City of Winter Garden 20th All American Kids Parade 2024
July 4

Don your red, white, and blue and parade through historic downtown by foot, bike, scooter, or wagon with spectators cheering for the 20th Annual All American Kids Parade on Thursday, July 4, at 10 am. Come early for a free Kids Pancake Breakfast.


The Geneva 4th of July Parade & Festival
