It's happening this weekend Orlando! Mike Perry and Dillon Danis will finally settle a years-long back-and-forth inside the Kia Center.
The wait is over folks! The King of Violence and the Bad Boy of MMA are finally coming face to face, fighting in Orlando this weekend, with combat sports fans excited to catch the action live when platinum Mike Perry returns again to professional MMA to face Dillon Danis, in a Welterweight Main Event on Saturday, August 29 at Kia Center.
The highly anticipated mixed martial arts contest has been organized by DuelBet who are hosting their first ever combat sports event, with the promotion billed as "Duel Arena."
Perry is a former UFC fan favorite who has found new success in bare-knuckle boxing, where his relentless style and knockout power have made him one of the sport's biggest stars. He eturns to the MMA ring for the second time since his UFC departure in 2021. He defeated Nate Diaz via second-round TKO at MVP MMA this past May.
Across from him is Dillon Danis, an accomplished Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and former training partner of Conor McGregor. A decorated grappler with victories at major international tournaments, Danis has built a massive social media following and become one of the most recognizable—and controversial—figures in combat sports, defeating Warren Spencer in 15 seconds in his last MMA fight at Misfits 22 last August.
With Perry's explosive striking and Danis' world-class submission skills, this showdown promises a night of high-energy action and unforgettable moments.
In addition to the battle between Perry and Danis, the first event, "Duel Arena 1" will feature a hybrid card featuring a mixture of MMA, boxing and kickboxing, with the bouts taking place inside a ring, and not a cage, including the Perry vs. Danis bout.
