Mico is bringing the In:Between Global Headline Tour to Orlando on February 27
Canadian alt-pop artist Mico is set to embark on a major international tour in support of his major label debut album When The Lights Turn On.
After a whirlwind year of sold out shows, his debut album, and a rapidly expanding global fanbase, 23-year-old Filipino Canadian artist MICO has announced his 2027 IN:BETWEEN Tour, taking him across Europe and the U.S. , with the tour kicking off on January 18, 2027.
The 29-date global headline tour arrives at a fitting moment for MICO, who has spent the past year navigating the space between where he came from and where he is headed. From growing up in Toronto and building his audience online to spending much of the last year on the road, MICO's music has increasingly explored what happens when the life you knew starts to feel different. The IN:BETWEEN Tour brings that feeling to the stage, marking his biggest headline run yet and taking his world to new cities across two continents.
The IN:BETWEEN Tour will kick off in Europe in January, taking MICO through Barcelona, Paris, Cologne, Munich, Prague, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, London, Dublin, and more before continuing across the U.S. through March.
The tour will hit Orlando on Saturday, February 27, taking to the stage at House of Blues Orlando. Tickets for the show are on sale Friday, October 16 at 10 am.
The tour follows MICO's sold out headline dates across North America and Europe and comes as his community of "amicos" continues to grow well beyond the internet spaces where he first found them.
MICO released his debut album When The Lights Turn On in June via Columbia Records. Blending the hook heavy nostalgia of 2000s and 2010s pop punk with modern alt pop, hyperpop, and alternative influences, the album captures the emotional chaos of growing up in real time. Across the project, MICO explores identity, heartbreak, nostalgia, online perception versus reality, and the strange experience of outgrowing the people and places that once felt like home
After building an audience independently through Discord communities, Twitch streams and self-released material, the Canadian artist has transitioned into the global major-label system while retaining the online-first fanbase that initially drove his success. His recent singles ‘DREAMBOY’ and ‘Like You Mean It’ have accelerated international attention, helping push his catalogue beyond 300 million streams worldwide.
Mico’s rise reflects a broader shift in how emerging artists are developing careers outside traditional industry pathways. Instead of relying on radio or touring circuits first, artists like Mico have built communities directly through gaming platforms, livestreams and social media ecosystems before converting those audiences into ticket buyers. The strategy has already translated into sold out North American and European headline runs for the singer over the past 18 months.
