Memorial Day is a time to honor our nation's heroes, and say thank you to the brave soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.
Memorial Day is a holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Memorial Day 2025 will occur on Monday, May 26.
Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971.

The City of Clermont is pleased to announce we will once again be hosting the Memorial Vietnam Travelling Wall during the Memorial Day Weekend, 2025. The wall will be escorted on Saturday, May 24 through Clermont and will be set up at the Waterfront Park, Highlander Hut and Pavilion area for viewing.

Please join the City of Leesburg as we honor those who have fallen. The City is hosting a Memorial Day program on May 24th at Veterans Memorial Park at 10 am.

Enjoy this Memorial Day Salute, honoring all Veterans, presented by Friends of Cypress Grove Park and SouthState Bank! This is a free event on Saturday, May 24, from 9:45 - 11:30 am at Orange County Parks and Recreation's Cypress Grove Park, 290 Holden Ave., Orlando. Bring chairs, blankets and a picnic.

Join St Cloud in honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service of our nation's freedom. Location: Mount Peace Cemetery, 755 East 10th Street. Together, we pay tribute to their courage and dedication.

Join us to honor and remember our local veterans who gave their lives during times of war or while serving in the United States armed forces. Presented by American Legion Post 63 and City of Winter Garden, the event includes a Roll Call of Veterans, placement of wreaths, and patriotic songs to pay homage to those that made ultimate sacrifice.
GUEST SPEAKER: Ms. Veteran America 2024, Cassandra Guzman (USAF) Ms. Guzman is an Orlando-based United States Air Force veteran. She serviced in the U.S. Air Force for a decade and is a distinguished real estate professional, interior designer, mentor, community volunteer, and an unwavering advocate for veterans.

The Apopka Memorial Day Service will take place on Monday, May 26, 2025 at 11 AM at the Veterans Memorial at Edgewood/Greenwood Cemetery (141 South Edgewood Drive, Apopka, FL).
The City of Apopka and the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 10147 would like to invite the public to join us, as we honor the lives and legacy of our fallen military heroes at the Veterans Memorial.
