Fireworks testing is due to take place at EPCOT from November 27 - December 2, with guests in surrounding resorts given advance warning of possible overnight noise.
As we get ever closer to the new nighttime spectacular, Luminous: The Symphony of Us, launching on December 5 at EPCOT, Walt Disney World has announced that fireworks testing is taking place for the new show in the days ahead.
Disney will be testing pyrotechnics and special effects overnight, with resort guests staying at any of the hotels located in the EPCOT Resort Area warned that pyrotechnics and other special effects will be tested nightly at EPCOT from November 27 through December 2, with the exception of Friday, December 1.
These tests are scheduled to begin around 10:30 p.m. (later on Thursday due to Extended Evening Hours) and end by 1 a.m.
The expected noise level of this fireworks display is expected to be significant.
Affected resorts include:
Walt Disney World Swan
Walt Disney World Dolphin
Walt Disney World Swan Reserve
Disney's Yacht Club Resort
Disney's Beach Club Resort
Disney Boardwalk Resort
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort

The all-new nighttime spectacular will debut at EPCOT on December 5, 2023 at 9.30 pm.
The show has recently been added to the Walt Disney World webpage, with Disney descoping the show as follows:
A Sparkling Spectacle
Delight in a dramatic show designed to bring us all together. Marvel at a dazzling pageant of fireworks, fountains, music and lights set to an original composition. New music, along with evocative selections from the Disney songbook, come together to remind us that we are more alike than we are different.
