Korean Grocery Store H Mart finally getting ready to begin construction on huge new Orlando location

The long awaited arrival of H Mart into Orlando could finally be happening with construction expected to begin in fall this year.

New Jersey-based Korean grocery store H Mart revealed plans to open its largest ever store here in Orlando last year, but delays with the permits including an environmental assessment by the County has meant that the plans have been delayed until now.


The store will be H Mart's first store in Florida, as well as its biggest in the country .


The new store will be located in the former SuperTarget on W Colonial and Dorscher Rd, between Hiawassee and Apopka-Vineland

H Mart is the largest Asian supermarket chain in America, starting in 1982 with a single store in Woodside, Queens,


H Mart has grown to include more than 97 stores across the United States, offering a full line of Asian foods as well as a broad range of Western groceries to complement its full scale offering to that of a traditional supermarket.
