Artemis II is set to launch four astronauts around the moon as early as Feb. 6, and viewing packages are available for purchase, offering guests the opportunity to witness NASA’s first crewed Artemis mission

NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, along with CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut Jeremy Hansen are the next astronauts to fly around the Moon, and you can get an up close viewing spot to watch the spectacular launch of Artemis II, which will take the astronauts on NASA's first crewed Artemis mission
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is offering special launch viewing packages for NASA’s Artemis II mission. NASA has not yet announced a launch date or time for Artemis II. It is currently slated for no earlier than February 6, 2026.
Launch viewing packages will be valid for any date or time associated with Artemis II’s first launch attempt.
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex offers some of the closest public launch viewing opportunities, with distinctive experiences that include live launch commentary from space experts, access to designated viewing locations, and mission-themed experiences throughout the visitor complex.

Artemis II will be NASA’s first crewed mission of the Artemis program and the first-time astronauts fly aboard the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and Orion spacecraft, building on the success of the uncrewed Artemis I test flight in 2022.
The mission will demonstrate critical capabilities needed for deep space exploration and pave the way for humanity’s return to the Moon.

UPDATED SCRUB POLICY:
The launch viewing package you have purchased is mission-specific (i.e. Artemis I), not date/time specific. Launch packages are non-transferable to another mission. Your launch viewing package includes:
Admission to two targeted launch dates: one admission on the date the launch is scheduled and one additional launch attempt if a scrub or delay occurs.
A return visit within 30 days after the launch attempt(s) to explore the rest of the visitor complex attractions and exhibits (blackout dates apply).
Food, beverages, and souvenirs, if applicable to the package that you have purchased.
Refunds may ONLY be requested for any unused ticket packages, meaning package tickets that have not been scanned at the visitor complex main entrance during a given launch attempt.
The purchaser understands that launches may occur at any date/time or can be delayed/scrubbed with little notice due to weather or technical issues. If your travel plans are not flexible, carefully consider this scrub policy before purchase. The visitor complex is not responsible for the launch schedule.
If the delay/scrub is announced prior to the visitor complex opening on the targeted launch date:
You may retain your package, and all inclusions are valid for the new launch date/time. OR
Refunds may be requested ONLY for any unused ticket packages.
If the delay/scrub is announced after the visitor complex opens on the targeted launch date:
If the delay/scrub is announced 3 or more hours prior to the scheduled launch time, food, beverage and souvenirs (if applicable to your package) are valid for the next launch date.
If the delay/scrub is announced less than 3 hours prior to the scheduled launch time, food, beverages and souvenirs (if applicable to your package) will be provided only for this original launch date/time.
More scrub policy information can be found here.
