Join The Bridge Theatre for “A Million Dreams,” a spectacular fundraising showcase on August 24 at The Abbey!

Enjoy a night of incredible performances from local talent and big stars, all while supporting their mission to provide vital educational theatre experiences for young people, including the upcoming production of The Diary of Anne Frank in October.

This is a one-night-only opportunity to hear Broadway star Ciaran Sheehan (The Phantom of the Opera) right here in Orlando in the beautifully intimate setting of The Abbey.

The evening will be hosted by Orlando’s funniest man, Dave Russell (SAK Comedy Lab), with virtual visits by Hollywood Stars Wayne Brady (Whose Line is it Anyway?) and Wesley Taylor (Only Murders in the Building) as well as Broadway’s Michael J. Scott (Aladdin).

Many well-known and beloved Orlando talents round out this amazing Showcase in support of The Bridge Theatre.

Tickets are available now:

The Bridge Theatre Company, located in Orlando, exists to foster acceptance and awareness of the importance of mutual respect among all people, particularly young people.

The Bridge Theatre is aimed at middle school/high school students who are all too often the targets – or the perpetrators – of bullying.  This age group is especially vulnerable due to their near-constant exposure to social media and the inevitable challenges of peer pressure.  This vulnerability is borne out by the frightening statistics concerning teen anxiety, depression, and suicide.

The current prevalence of negative behavior, from online trolling to gun violence, has invaded young people’s lives, exposing them to the damaging effects of   hate speech, anti-Semitism, and the many other forms of prejudicial actions.

The Bridge will work to bring an annual theatrical performance of a curriculum-related and approved drama to middle school/high school students, each year focusing on one aspect of the larger problem. The performance will be accompanied by on-site workshops and curriculum guides for teachers to help students to explore the issues and to examine how their positive attitudes and actions can help dissipate the current social climate in which hatred, bullying, and prejudice grow.
