John Mayer extends U.S. Solo Acoustic Tour and he's coming to Tampa this October

John Mayer has announced this week an extension of his current trek across North America into the fall, with a series of additional dates.

Mayer shared on Instagram, “Announcing new fall dates for the Solo tour. As a dear friend once told me, ‘never block a blessing.’ Something very special is happening out here and I want to keep it going – It’s too good for my soul. Thank you for making it such an incredible run so far.”

The fall leg of Mayer’s Solo tour will kick off on October 3 at New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden, and will make stops in Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Atlanta, Nashville, before stopping off in Tampa on October 13!, where he will take to the stage at Amalie Arena.

Tickets will go on general sale Friday at 9am.

An exclusive fan presale is available now ending Thursday, March 30, at 10 pm.

The solo tour marks the first time in Mayer’s 20-year career that he’s hit the road without accompaniment. Each gig will feature full acoustic sets from Mayer, as well as “special performances” on electric guitar and piano.

2023 is shaping up to be a busy year of touring for Mayer as the guitarist will also embark on the final Dead and Company tour this summer.
