Jeff’s Bagel Run is pushing hard on it's expansion plans with four new locations currently under development, and more on the way!
Fast expanding local bagel chain, Jeff’s Bagel Run which currently has two locations, Ocoee, and Winter Park, is working on impressive expansion plans that will see that number increase to eight!
Currently the chain is working hard on four new stores which are all due to open in February/March.
The locations are Orange Avenue in Winter Park, Alafaya Trail in Oviedo, Daryl Carter Parkway in O'Town West, and Future Way in Celebration. And if that's not enough, another two stores will open in early summer in Clermont, and Conroy/Kirkman.
The new locations will feature an open kitchen concept with bar seating so guests can watch the bagel making magic.
The first new store to open will be the Oviedo location at 1351 Alafaya Trail, Suite 1013, which is scheduled to open on February 15, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 am.
The bagel shops which are run by Jeff and Danielle Perera, are expanding thanks to a strategic partnership with Justin Wetherill, founder of 1337 Capital, and the co-founder of the uBreakiFix chain.
After moving to Central Florida in 2016, Jeff and Danielle Perera found themselves in search of a great bagel. However, they were unable to find New York-style bagels that Danielle grew up enjoying. After Jeff's layoff in 2019, Danielle leaned into their shared love of bagels and asked Jeff to make her a bagel. With Danielle as the taste tester, Jeff dedicated himself to perfecting his bagel recipes and techniques. Amidst the pandemic, Jeff started a "bagel run,"
personally delivering freshly baked bagels door-to-door.
Word spread and demand soared for Jeff's Bagel Run. The success of the "bagel run" led to selling bagels at local markets, and finally the opening of the first Jeff's Bagel Run brick and mortar location in Ocoee, Florida. In June 2021, Danielle left her full-time corporate job to go "full bagel" at Jeff's Bagel Run.
