International retailer Primark adding second Orlando store at Vineland Premium Outlets

Celebrating 10 years in the U.S., Primark announces four new lease signings - Orlando Premium Outlets, The Mall of America, Sugarloaf Mills, and Brandon Exchange.

Primark, the international retailer offering quality fashion at value prices, today celebrates its 10-year anniversary of entering the United States. Since opening its first US store at Downtown Crossing in Boston in 2015, the brand has opened 33 stores across 13 states, including a huge store at the Florida Mall in Orlando.

"Primark came to the United States a decade ago very deliberate in our approach, testing and learning to ensure that as we continued to expand our footprint in-market, we were getting it just right for US shoppers," said Kevin Tulip, President of Primark US. "To say we're thrilled with the success we've seen in the US to-date is an understatement. US shoppers have welcomed Primark with arms wide open, and continue to be wowed by the value, quality and style we offer. We look forward to meeting these same needs for US shoppers for decades to come!" 

Primark is ramping up its US growth with 18 additional leases signed, four of which were just announced - including a lease at Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets, doubling the companies presence in Orlando.

We believe that the new Primark store will be opening the former Forever 21 space at 8249 Vineland Ave.

Also announced were new stores in Mall of America, Bloomington, Minn, Brandon Exchange, Brandon, Fla, and Sugarloaf Mills, Lawrenceville, Ga.

No opening timeline has been announced for these four new stores.

Looking forward, Primark also has plans to open a new flagship, Primark's first ever Manhattan location next year. Located in Herald Square, directly across the street from Penn Station, the store will offer Primark's unique combination of style, quality and affordability to more shoppers than ever before.

In addition to store openings, Primark has invested in its US team with key hires and the opening of a new office in Downtown Boston this year. Primark is consistently selected as an employer of choice in the US.

This year the company was named one of the Top 100 Inspiring Workplaces in North America as well as one of the Global Top 100 Inspiring Workplaces by Inspiring Workplaces Group. Most recently Primark was honored in the number two spot on the National Retail Federation's "2025 Hot 25 Retailers" list compiled by Kantar – an annual look at the fastest-growing retailers in the United States.
