Hot Dog Alert! Central Florida is set to get yet another Portillo’s location with the Chicago-style food chain planning to open a new location in Lake County
Sun's out, buns out! It looks likely that Portillo's are opening yet another restaurant in central Florida, with the chains Chicago-style street food heading to Lake County.
The new restaurant has been approved by Lady Lake commissioners this week, with plans grin-lit for a 7,800-square-foot restaurant with a drive-thru to be built along US-27/441. The restaurant will include seating for 212 guests, and car parking for 131 vehicles.
Fast becoming a Central Florida favorite, at Portillos you can cake shake in to enjoy signature menu items like Chicago-Style Hot Dogs, Famous Italian Beef Sandwiches, Char-Grilled Burgers and Portillo’s Famous Chocolate Cake.
Fast-casual chain Portillo’s also recently announced plans to open more Central Florida locations, with a restaurant in Sanford, and another at Waterford Lakes Town Center, with the restaurant to be located at 315 N. Alafaya Trail.
Portilo's is proving popular in Orlando with the chain first opening in the Villages at O-Town West on Palm Parkway, followed by a restaurant on the 192 in Kissimmee across from The Promenade On Sunset Walk.
