Honor those who served at the 27th Annual City of Orlando Veterans Day Parade in Lake Nona
Veterans Day is a day to recognize the bravery, sacrifice, and patriotism of veterans and serves as an opportunity for the nation to express gratitude for their service and dedication.
November marks National Veteran and Military Families Month, highlighted by Veterans Day on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. It is a federal holiday honoring everyone who has served in the United States Armed Forces — living and deceased, wartime and peacetime.
Many cities and communities organize parades and ceremonies to honor veterans, and here in Central Florida, residents, visitors, and community groups are invited to gather for the 27th Annual City of Orlando Veterans Day Parade, with this year's parade taking place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 11 am.
As one of Mayor Buddy Dyer’s premier Signature Events, this longstanding Central Florida tradition is hosted by the City of Orlando and the Mayor's Veterans Advisory Council, and is now hosted in partnership with Tavistock and the Lake Nona VA Medical Center.
This year's parade brings the regional celebration directly into the heart of Orlando’s veteran healthcare and support network in Lake Nona, taking place in Lake Nona Town Center.
This year’s theme, “Veterans Helping Veterans and Their Families,” highlights the importance of supporting those who served and their loved ones. The theme also connect the nation’s history with the legacy of military service in this country.
In recognition of America’s 250th anniversary, the 2026 celebration will pay special tribute to those who have answered the call to duty and highlight the support provided by military families and service organizations.
Parade Route
The parade will begin and end at the Lake Nona Town Center. A ceremony will take place after the parade with additional fun for the family.
