From as early as August through to November, Orlando transforms into the ultimate Halloween destination.
You can experience world famous scare events in the theme parks including the world's premier Halloween event is at Universal Orlando, where you experience terrifying haunted houses, sinister scare zones, outrageous live entertainment and some of the park’s most exhilarating attractions at Halloween Horror Nights.
Over on the west coast you take on terrifying haunts and thrills at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay where unspeakable horror lives in every dark corner, Howl-O-Scream brings fear to the next level and once you’re in there’s nothing to fear but everything.
Back in Orlando, after dark when the park closes, SeaWorld Orlando transforms into an adults only scarefest with Howl-O-Scream, well worth a visit as is it's namesake signature event at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.
Outside of the theme parks, Central Florida offers many unique and quite frankly terrifying local Halloween events and scarefests including must visit attractions, A Petrified Forrest in Altamonte Springs and Scream-A-Geddon in Dade City, plus Mortem Manor at Old Town in Kissimmee is Central Florida's only year round haunted attraction/

August 29 - November 2, 2025, Select Nights
Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) at Universal Studios Florida is huge, its one of the biggest Halloween events in the country, and features horror of all genres, from cinematic greats and crazed cult favorites to the park’s original abominations, and each year the legend grows and the experience reaches beyond your wildest nightmares.
This year, Halloween Horror Nights 34 emerges from the fog on August 29, running select nights until November 2, 2025.
So what should you expect from the popular after-hours event this year? HHN 34 includes10 terrifying haunted houses with a mix of popular horror franchise based houses, and unique original houses

You will also come face-to-face with hordes of taunting scare actors in five all-new scare zones, including Torture Faire and Swamp of the Undead.
New to HHN this year is Mel's Die Inn Zombies, and Club Horror, two all-new street experiences that take the horror to new heights — featuring zombie carhops, undead DJs and more.
Plus, In the midst of the screams, guests can experience a disturbingly entertaining live show, Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay, also new for 2025 is Haunt-O-Phonic: A Ghoulish Journey, featuring towering water screens and eerie music in the lagoon, and of course it would not be HHN without an all-new Tribute Store, and scary-unique horror themed food and beverage, and so much more.
Year Round Attraction
Mortem Manor is located at Old Town in Kissimmee, and is Central Florida's only year-round haunted attraction. Journey through two floors of an old victorian themed haunted attraction filled with scares, thrills and fun. Featuring live actors, animatronics and state-of-the-art special effects.

If you go down to the woods this spooky season you're in for a horrific surprise... Scream-A-Geddon in Dade City is spread across 20 acres in a remote corner of Pasco County.
The scariest of horror parks, Scream-A-Geddon Horror Park offers five haunted houses including the new for 2025, Killgores Circus, a zombie paintball fight, plus monsters who can and will grab you!
Scream-A-Geddon is only a miserable 1 hour, 30 minute drive from Orlando, and it is so worth it, if you dare....
September 5 - November 1, 2025, Select Nights
Orlando’s most terrifying Halloween event is back and more bone-chilling than ever. Now in its 5th year, Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld Orlando unleashes a new wave of screams with unexpected horrors lurking around every corner. This separately ticketed event is built for the brave, featuring spine-tingling scare zones, menacing haunted houses, and heart-pounding thrill rides in the dark.
This year, Howl-O-Scream will take place over 28 nights, running select evenings from September 5 through November 1, and will feature:
5 haunted houses with all-new storylines and immersive horror environments
6 scare zones where the fear is never far and no path is safe
2 roaming hordes—you’ll never know when or where the terror will strike next
5 themed bars with eerie cocktails and chilling vibes

Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream returns in full force, taking over the entire park with haunted houses, scare zones, sinister shows and more.
This year, guests can confront their darkest fears with all-new, spine-chilling haunted experiences like M.A.R.S. and The Pestilence, plus the thrilling stage shows, “The Reckoning” and Cirque-X-Scream. Guests can also indulge in sinister bites such as “Black Widow Sliders”, “Slaughter Dogs” and “Zombie Fingers” and devilishly crafted cocktails that promise a spine-tingling taste of terror.
September 19 - November 1, 2025, Every Thursday, Friday, & Saturday
This Halloween, as the sun sets and shadows stretch across the land, Clermont’s beloved Showcase of Citrus transforms into a realm of unrelenting terror.
An ancient curse has seeped into the soil, awakening sinister scarecrows, grotesque monsters, and hordes of the undead. The once-familiar orange groves are no longer a safe haven—they’ve become a harrowing landscape of fear. Your only hope for survival: climb aboard our towering 16-feet tall, 40-foot long Monster Trucks, manned by fearless Showcase Rangers, and plunge into a wild escape through the cursed fields. But beware—this is no ordinary Halloween attraction. It’s an immersive, heart-pounding thrill ride into the very heart of a nightmare.
September 26 - November 1, 2025, Select Nights
The one of a kind outdoor haunted attraction, Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail is a not-to-be-missed horror theme park in Plant City.
The attraction, also known as the i4 Fear Park, contains multiple haunted houses (aka haunted trails), escape games, laser tag, food vendors, a gift shop, axe throwing, and a common area that features an ornate centerpiece with wandering scare actors.
Each event either features two or three open trails with a different theme or story for each session that the haunt is open. Plus, don't miss the haunted hayride!
September 26 - November 2, 2025, Select Dates
The Haunting of River Ranch, located at Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo takes guests on new experiences and calls upon the spirits for a witching good time. The Curse of Kicco the Clown continues with a new twist this year, adding even more fright to the festivities. Brave the Haunted Stables before your ride begins and experience a haunted hayride that uncovers a bone-chilling tale never-before-heard at the ranch.
Plus, explore scare zones, indulge in festive food and beverages, strike a pose at spooky photo ops, and dive into the Spooky Adventure Park for a Halloween adventure like no other!
October 3 - November 1, 2025, Select Nights
Far Reach Ranch in Tavares is home to a terrifying haunted attraction called Fear Reach Scream Park.
Fear Reach Scream Park features 3 haunted attractions, then at Pitchfork Parlor you can enjoy spooky cocktails from the bar and live music featuring a punk/rockabilly band, plus try your hand at axe throwing and carnival games in Dr. Deviant’s Game Emporium!
October 3 - November 1, 2025, Select Nights
Dr. Grimley's Haunted Trail is located at Sunsational Farms, 40541 Roger Giles Road, Umatilla, and features two themed trails where the’ll prey upon your deepest phobias with horrific scares designed to unsettle and disorient. Double the trails… double the terror… double the value. And there’s more…From 8 pm until 10 pm each night, both trails will terrify your uneasy soul. But after 10 pm, they turn off the lights and amp up the scares for those brave enough to enter the trails for the “Lights Out” experience with nothing but a tiny hand-held light (provided) to illuminate your way (and any horror that may cross your path…)
That’s 4 total haunt experiences each night for those with enough courage to overcome their fears in both light and darkness.
October 3 - November 1 2025, Select Nights
One of the best spooky season scare experiences in Central Florida is a horrifying journey into A Petrified Forest! This terrifying independent outdoor scare trail which is located in the Altamonte Springs area of Orlando is legendary around these parts, and this year's event is theamed to Nature's Fury, with each trail incorporating the theme.
A Petrified Forest is a home grown community attraction, offering three intensely horrifying scare trails set in a genuinely spooky forest location covering around 2 acres. The trails are long, with uniquely themed rooms and awesome scares around every turn.
The annual Halloween event continues to grow ever year, and now offer a whole night out with great music, food concessions, local art vendors, laser tag, backstage tours, and so much more.
October 11 - 25, 2025, Select Dates
Do you dare to enter the Haunted Trail at Peghorn Nature Park in St. Cloud? Step into the darkness and see what chills await on October 11, 17, 18, 24, and 25 from 8 to 11 pm.

This Halloween season, join Tales of Terror and their band of miscreants as they bring you an 18 + only intensive immersive experience that brings you face to face with your worst nightmares.
See if you can escape the terrifying trail and scare zone filled with monsters waiting to add you to their collection of guts and gore. Enjoy spine chilling performances by Circus Inferno. Beat the heat and play with freaks and frights in the Spook N Splash select night party event. Come see all that that goes bump in the night and more, with an extra special experience the last weekend of October, that you'll never forget. Located at Astatula in Lake County.

Be prepared for three nights of terror in Downtown Clermont! Taking place at Brewer & Sons Clermont Chapel, 1018 West Avenue Clermont, get ready for a spine-chilling experience at The Main Street Haunted House.
