The long, long, and even longer than we thought wait for the debut of H Mart into Orlando appears to be nearly (possibly) over!

H Mart Orlando News - Huge new Orlando grocery store now hiring

New Jersey-based Korean grocery store H Mart revealed plans to open its largest ever store here in Orlando way back in 2021, but multiple delays, including delays with the permits including an environmental assessment by the County has meant that the opening of the first H Mart in Florida has been a very long time coming...

Thankfully the wait could be almost over, not that there is an opening date, BUT the new store which will not only be H Mart's first store in Florida, it will be the biggest in the country, has began to hire workers for the new store.

The Korean grocery store posted job listings on its jobs site for full and part-time associates, with H Mart looking to fill positions in several departments throughout the store, including produce, meat, seafood, grocery, ready to cook, customer service, cashier, and more.

The hotly anticipated H Mart will be located in the former SuperTarget on W Colonial and Dorscher Rd, between Hiawassee and Apopka-Vineland.

The new store will feature a food hall, which will include an outpost of international bakery, Paris Baguette, who announced in November 2024 that they will operate a bakery as part of the H Market Eatery Food Hall within the store.

The food hall will also include Chidon Katsu Place, U Chun Korean Restaurant, Eggcellent Sandwich & Coffee, Paik’s Noodle, Myung Ga Korean BBQ & Tofu Soup, Oh K-Dog & Egg Toast, Jaws Topokki and Kung Fu Tea.

H Mart is the largest Asian supermarket chain in America, starting in 1982 with a single store in Woodside, Queens,

H Mart has grown to include more than 97 stores across the United States, offering a full line of Asian foods as well as a broad range of Western groceries to complement its full scale offering to that of a traditional supermarket.
