Guests must use virtual queue to ride TRON at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year

Earlier today Walt Disney World announced dates and details for this year's Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park and the details have revealed some scary news for guests hoping to find short lines for new attraction TRON Lightcycle Run.


Guests at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will have to use virtual queue to ride TRON

This year's Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party returns to Magic Kingdom Park on August 11, 2023, and while Disney boast of experiencing shorter wait times on attractions, at this year's event guests who pay for the upcharge event will have to join a Virtual Queue if they want to ride TRON Lightcycle Run during the party.


No further details have been revealed as yet, including how and when guests will need to join the Virtual Queue.


Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

This year's event dates are:

  • August: 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29

  • September: 1, 4, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29

  • October: 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31

  • November: 1
