Guest Rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter to be refurbished, starting May

Walt Disney Wold has revealed that guest rooms within Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter are to be refurbished - with the project starting May.

If you have plans to stay at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter from May onwards, the latest news from Walt Disney World may impact your vacation!

The resort has announced that they are to begin refurbishment of certain guest rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter from next month.

According to the Walt Disney World website, some guest rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will be under refurbishment from May 2024 through November 2024.

As a result of the refurbishment, guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours at the resort.

Walt Disney World is advising that most resort amenities will remain available, but do not elaborate on what amenities will NOT be available.

No details on this refurbishment have been revealed. It is not known if this is a full refurbishment including decor, furniture etc, or if it only involves soft furnishing changes including bedding etc.
