Downtown Orlando hotel embarks on new chapter with refreshed identity and enduring commitment to the local community, while remaining a part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection.

Grand Bohemian Orlando, a cornerstone of Downtown Orlando's hospitality and cultural community, today begins its next chapter as Hotel Beauden (pronounced Boh-den), an Autograph Collection Hotel, introducing a new brand identity while preserving the service, leadership and local relationships that have made the hotel a defining part of the city’s hospitality landscape.
Inspired by Orlando's enduring designation as "The City Beautiful," Hotel Beauden has been envisioned as a polished, locally rooted hospitality experience that celebrates the city's civic heritage while embracing its growing creative energy. Designed to serve as an urban host and gathering place, the hotel reflects Downtown Orlando's emergence as a cultural destination where arts, cuisine, business, and community converge.
As part of the transition, the hotel’s signature restaurant and bar, formerly known as The Boheme and Bosendorfer Lounge, debuts as Libra. Meaning “balance,” Libra celebrates Orlando’s diverse neighborhoods through a culinary program shaped by Hispanic, Floridian, and Asian influences. Led by Executive Chef Francisco Sillero, the menu balances classic technique with seasonal ingredients and globally inspired flavors, with dishes such as smoked crab dip with fried garlic gremolata and crispy wonton; pork belly with soy glaze, pickled carrots, and toasted cashew; and seared salmon with local grains, poblano crema and roasted tomatillo chow chow. The hotel will also continue its popular Sunday Jazz Brunch, offered every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., featuring unlimited mimosas, live entertainment and stations including a cinnamon roll cart, carving station, omelet station and dessert wall.

Hotel Beauden celebrates this new chapter with freshly updated amenities and curated spaces. A spectacular new lobby mural takes center stage as part of the hotel’s artfully infused design. Created by American artist Amy Rader, “The Beautiful Becoming” draws inspiration from Orlando’s lakes, optimism, and spirit of reinvention, with nods to Lake Eola, the city’s iconic swans and the hotel’s signature gold geometric pattern. Reflecting its rich history as Downtown’s grand host, the hotel has transformed The Rotunda into a central gathering point with new banquette seating, soft lighting, tea height tables with stools, and drapery for elevated acoustics. The updates build upon an $18 million renovation of all 248 guestrooms and the property’s public spaces completed in 2024.
Later this fall, Hotel Beauden will introduce a series of locally inspired activations and programming designed to celebrate Orlando and its heritage. At the center of the Rotunda, a newly installed Steinway grand piano heralds Hotel Beauden’s new partnership with the Steinway Society of Central Florida, who are committed to making music accessible to children within the community.

"Hotel Beauden reflects where Downtown Orlando is today - creative, confident and constantly evolving," said Benjamin McCarney, General Manager of Hotel Beauden. “With this new chapter, our hotel will be even more rooted in the culture and energy of our city with an identity that celebrates this connection in a new way. And while our name is changing, guests, neighbors and partners can expect the same team, the same commitment to service and welcoming experience we have been proud to deliver for 25 years.”
Located steps from some of downtown’s most significant civic, arts and entertainment destinations, including the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Kia Center, Church Street, City Hall and Lake Eola Park, Hotel Beauden will continue to serve as a central hub for the city’s meetings, celebrations, dining and social experiences.
Rates start at $309/night. For more information, visit HotelBeauden.com or follow along at @HotelBeauden.
