Who’s up for some quack-tastic fun?! Gather your family and friends and join the Downtown Duck Derby!
The Downtown Duck Derby is happening in Historic Plant City Main Street, on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 11 am, and it’s not too late to join the fun and have a chance to win $1000.
Adopting a duck is just $5 each. There’s no limit to how many you can adopt, and every duck increases your chance to win the $1000.
On race day, all adopted ducks will be released into the stream, with the first duck to cross the finish line wining the $1000 prize.
Anyone, anywhere can enter the DUck Derby! Whether you're in Plant City or across the country, you can adopt ducks and watch the race from home, with Plant City Main Street streaming the event live so your friends and family can join the excitement from anywhere.
All proceeds support the mission of Historic Downtown Plant City—so while you’re having fun, you’re also making a difference.
