Sip on exceptional craft brews and enjoy lively activities at the Brick City Beer and Wine Festival.
The 11th Annual Brick City Beer and Wine Festival, presented by the World Equestrian Center, will be held this year on Saturday, April 19, from 2 pm - 6 pm at Citizens’ Circle at 151 SE Osceola Avenue, Ocala.
This family-friendly annual event is hosted by the Ocala-Silver Springs Rotary Club and the Ocala-Sunset Rotary, and features unforgettable fun while giving back to the community, with proceeds benefitting Interfaith Emergency Services, Marion County Literacy Council, and Kimberly’s Center for Child Protection.
Highlight of the festival is the Beer and Wine Sampling with sixteen breweries taking part this year, plus as this is a kid-friendly festival, the kids have their very own Soda Saloon!
The fun continues with the Battle of the Bands, presented by WindFM, plus therir is craft vendors, food trucks and more.
The Brick City Beer and Wine Festival gets its name from Ocala's unique history! On Thanksgiving of 1883, a fire took the downtown area. Learning from this disaster, during rebuilding, brick and other fire resistant materials were used instead of lumber. This earned the city the nickname "Brick City," a title it proudly holds to this day.
