Enjoy a weekend of good eatin’, good friends, and good tunes to benefit Lakeland-area charities.

The 28th Annual Lakeland Pigfest will feature more than 150 competition barbecue teams during a weekend of good eatin’, good friends, and good tunes to benefit Lakeland-area charities.
Pigfest is huge, it's one of the largest barbecue competitions in the southeast and is the largest KCBS sanctioned event in Florida.
The 2-day BBQ festival is held at the SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus on Medulla Road in Lakeland, with this year's event taking place on Friday, January 24 from 5 - 10 pm, and Saturday, January 25 from 10 am - 5pm.

Since 1997, the event has generated over 2 million dollars in charitable donations that have been disbursed to the Lakeland Community through various community partnerships.
Admission to Lakeland Pigfest is just $5 and kids 12 years and younger can enter for free.
The good eatin’ won’t cost you much and is well worth the value. Stop by a Pig Bucks booth (located near the entrance and various locations throughout) and exchange your cash for Pig Bucks, the official currency of the Lakeland Pigfest.
By purchasing food from the over 150 plus competition teams, you are supporting their efforts and local charities.

KCBS is “the largest international organization of barbeque enthusiasts” and has sanctioned the Lakeland Pigfest since its first contest in 1997. Professional teams travel from all over the U.S. to compete in four categories: Ribs, Chicken, Pork and Brisket.
Over 200 teams from 17 states have competed in Lakeland since 1997, with many returning year after year.
