The countdown is on for a day filled with nostalgia, laughter and friendly competition.

On Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 2 pm - 6 pm. City District Main Street, in partnership with AdventHealth, is bringing back the 3rd annual Downtown Orlando Field Day.
Downtown Orlando Field Day, sponsored by AdventHealth is an exciting downtown event that brings residents and business professionals together for fun and camaraderie.
The high-energy, adult event is designed to spark team spirit, friendly competition and plenty of laughter with up to 50 teams going head-to-head in classic throwback field games, culminating in the ultimate test of strength and spirit: the Tug-of-War Grand Finale!
Hosted on Seneff Arts Plaza at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, this signature fundraiser fuels City District Main Street’s mission to strengthen community ties, celebrate local culture and inclusion and support downtown’s growth.
Up to 50 teams will be competing, and spectators are very welcome to watch the action. Discover more information at downtownorlandofieldday.com.

“Field Day started as a what‑if in a committee meeting. Neighbors wanted more ways to connect, move and celebrate, so we made it happen,” said Mike Griffin, executive director City District Main Street. “It’s now a downtown tradition and plenty of folks already circle the date. We’re proud to unite friends, colleagues and partners for friendly rivalry, big laughs and pure Orlando spirit.”
This nostalgic throwback event blends classic Field Day games with a unique Orlando twist. Fifty teams go head‑to‑head in four challenges, ending with a fan‑favorite tug‑of‑war showdown.
"Downtown Orlando serves as a place that helps our community come together," said Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer. "Field Day is another exciting downtown event that brings residents together for fun and camaraderie, and we’re proud to stand with City District Main Street and its partners as they host it at Seneff Arts Plaza, adding to the vibrancy of our downtown."
“At AdventHealth, we’re honored to support community initiatives that promote whole-person health through active lifestyles and meaningful connections,” said Sharon Line Clary, senior vice president of community impact and partnership engagement at AdventHealth. “Downtown Orlando Field Day reflects our shared commitment with City District Main Street to build a vibrant, healthier community where people come together and feel whole.”
