It's time to get berry excited as one of the biggest traditions in the Sunshine State has announced the theme for it's 2024 festival!
The much loved Florida Strawberry Festival will take place early next year, from February 29 - March 10, 2024, and now we know the theme.
Are you ready for an encounter like no other? Festival organisers have announce that the annual theme of the 2024 will be Out Of This World, with over 500,000 visitors will make the trip out to Plant City from near and far
“The sky’s the limit,” commented Florida Strawberry Festival President Kyle Robinson. “Our board of directors, staff and maintenance crew have been hard at work this summer planning and preparing an out of this world’ experience for all our guests. We look forward to welcoming visitors from far and wide to BerryFest24!”
A new theme is created each year for the popular festival to give guests a glimpse of the experience they will have at the event, as well as unify vendors, FFA chapters, organizations, corporate partners and exhibitors, who create parade floats and displays.
“The Festival’s atmosphere is like no other,” said Robinson. “Seeing families gather, volunteers serving and the Plant City community coming together year after year is extraordinary. There’s no place on Earth quite like the Florida Strawberry Festival!”
Located between Tampa and Lakeland, the Florida Strawberry Festival is a uniquely Florida Festival that features tons of fresh strawberries, buckets of yummy cream, together with a star studded line up of entertainment, wild rides, agriculture, arts, crafts, exhibitors, vendors, and more, with something for the whole family throughout the eleven day celebration.
The fabric of American life is woven into the Festival through social events, contests, youth developmental programs, and parades with glorious floats and high-stepping marching bands.
The Florida Strawberry Festival represents a piece of Americana, a time in American history when fairs and festivals brought communities together through celebrations of their harvests.
It has continued to grow in popularity year after year through the preservation of this heritage, and is a must do event in Central Florida, and of course it's all about the strawberries!!
Each year the thrills await you at the Belle City Amusements Midway, featuring over 85 rides that spin, drop, whirl, and twirl, the BCA Midway offers fun for every age.
The Florida Strawberry Festival offers a huge variety of headline entertainment each year, along with a great selection of free acts throughout the eleven days of the event. The concerts take place on the Wish Farms Soundstage.
