The Orlando Museum of Art is proud to announce David LaChapelle: As the World Turns, the largest U.S. museum retrospective of the visionary photographer and director. As the World Turns brings together more than 100 works – from early career milestones to premiere creations – tracing LaChapelle’s ever-evolving exploration of fame, faith, beauty and the human condition.

From soot on paper to felt, The Situated Body, an exhibition of the work of Mexican sculptor Jacobo Alonso at the Art & History Museums - Maitland, redefines the classical depictions of the human form through contemporary materials.

Explore the stories, movements, impact and culture of Black Americans at the City of Orlando’s Black History Month Gallery, featuring original works by Central Florida artists reflecting on themes like resilience, historical legacy, contemporary identity and the contributions of Black trailblazers, scholars and everyday heroes.


The Ren presents Mean Girls

January 16 - March 15

OMG Shut...UP! Yes, the Ren is doing a(nother) published musical, but this one is fetch. We're proud to present the Regional premier of Tina Fey's hit movie turned musical turned movie-musical. This show is perfect for our temporary downtown location. So grab your clique, you better wear pink, and get into it, babes. The Ren's Mean Girls takes over 54 West!


February 13 - March 1, Select Dates

Theatre South Playhouse presents The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. An eclectic group of pre-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Only one speller leaves a champion! At least the losers get a juice box.​


February 5 - 26

Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Black Americans as we celebrate the accomplishments and contributions made to our country throughout history. Local events will be held throughout Black History Month at local libraries. From book recommendations to pop culture discussions, the Orange County Library System wants you to join the conversation with library staff about the world around us. January 24 - February 22, Select Dates

Theatre for the Very Young continues with Yo, Ho, Ho! Let’s Go!, written by Jennifer Adams-Carrasquillo, a 30-minute adventure with a pirate on the high seas following a treasure map! Parrots, crabs, mermaids, and more join the fun! Theatre for the Very Young at Orlando Family Stage is created specifically for 1 to 5-year-olds and is an interactive, multi-sensory, developmentally accessible experience that encourages caregiver interaction and creative play.


February 7 - 22

Tiara's Hat Parade at Orlando Family Stage is a beautiful story about self-expression, resilience, and the power of family as it celebrates Black culture and creativity. Tiara’s Hat Parade is a family-friendly production based on the beloved picture book by prolific children’s author Kelly Starling Lyons. It tells the tale of young Tiara, who uses kindness, creativity, artistry and community to help her mother to revive her hat-making business.


Florida State Fair

February 5 - 16

The Florida State Fair takes place at the Florida Sate Fairgounds in Tampa, and boasts the largest Midway in the USA, plus shopping, food, livestock, non stop entertainment, and so much more, including racing pigs!

This 12-day event Feb. 5th through Presidents' Day features midway rides and games for the whole family, tasty carnival eats, a petting zoo, and Victoria Circus shows featuring the Globe of Death motorcycle thrill act, edge-of-your-seat high-wire and aerial performances, and more. Serving Sumter, Marion and Lake Counties.


January 29 - February 15, Select Dates

Seymour works at a run-down Skid Row florist shop. His hidden love for coworker Audrey is in full bloom, so when a mysterious venus flytrap-like plant appears, Seymour names it Audrey II in her honor. When he accidentally discovers that the plant thrives on blood, suddenly Seymour has another secret. But this one may come back to bite him. This campy, black-comedy musical takes you somewhere that’s green – and gleefully gruesome. Don’t feed the plants!

The 2026 Osceola County Fair is back February 13 - 22 at Osceola Heritage Park! Celebrating its 81st year, Osceola County’s largest event will feature amusement rides, games, exciting exhibits, livestock shows, scrumptious fair food, and a demolition derby.

Experience Central Florida's ONLY haunted Valentines event! This event at 2837 South Frontage Road, Plant City will be a 3 night ONLY event. Guests will be able to experience 3 haunted trails with a twist of 'love' on each trail. The common area will be transformed into the perfect haunted date night setting for those brave enough to dare this attraction! HamCation is the 2nd largest gathering of radio amateurs in the world annually. HamCation will kick off on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, February 13-15, hosted at the Central Florida Fairgrounds .
