A Day of Four Sunsets presents a new body of work by Miami-based artist Dennis Scholl, exploring the poetics of space exploration through assemblages of NASA memorabilia. The exhibition takes its title from astronaut John Glenn’s experience of witnessing four sunsets as he orbited Earth in 1962, evoking themes of time, memory, and the sublime vastness of the cosmos.

In 2026, Harry P. Leu Gardens proudly marks its 65th anniversary with a celebration titled Legacy in Bloom—a vibrant tribute to the enduring beauty, growth, and impact of this beloved public garden. Over the course of the year, visitors will experience a dynamic calendar of events, programs, exhibits, and installations that honor the Gardens’ rich past, thriving present, and bold future.


April 3 - May 16, Select Dates

Doors are at 10 pm. Escape for a little while. The show begins around 10:30 PM. After the show, be ready to boogie thenight away on the dance floor. Dress to the nines, babes. The beloved Pixar story comes to life on stage in this splashy, song-filled adaptation of Finding Nemo. Whatever you do, don’t let the Pigeon star in his own musical production! With a script written by Mo Willems, the creator of the #1 New York Times best-selling, Caldecott Honor award-winning “Pigeon” picture books, and featuring music by Deborah Wicks La Puma (Elephant & Piggie’s We Are in a Play!), Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical! is even more fun than staying up late and having a hot dog party! It’s not easy being the Pigeon-you never get to do ANYTHING! But when the Bus Driver has a crisis that threatens to make her passengers (gasp!) late, maybe that wily bird CAN do something. Featuring an innovative mix of songs, and feathers, Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical! is sure to get everyone’s wings flapping.

This exhibition features gifts and acquisitions from the Orlando Museum of Art’s permanent collection. Each work on display incorporates playthings such as toys, games, or objects initially intended for amusement.

Step into a world where imagination takes center stage at the History Center’s new special exhibition, Animationland. Meet Tracey the pencil dog and her quirky crew – Rooth, Drop, Inky, Uno, and Kari – as they invite visitors on a fantastically immersive journey into the art and science of storytelling.


David LaChapelle: As the World Turns at OMA

The Orlando Museum of Art is proud to announce David LaChapelle: As the World Turns, the largest U.S. museum retrospective of the visionary photographer and director. As the World Turns brings together more than 100 works – from early career milestones to premiere creations – tracing LaChapelle’s ever-evolving exploration of fame, faith, beauty and the human condition.

In Mission: Astronaut, presented by Florida Tech, visitors of all ages will experience what it takes to live, work, and explore beyond Earth. Through hands-on challenges and real NASA footage, you’ll train like an astronaut, experiment like a scientist, and imagine the future of space exploration.


March 20 – April 25

Regional Premiere! From The Andrews Sisters to hip-hop and Gershwin to Beyoncé, The Pin-Up Girls sing a cavalcade of hits inspired by letters home from our troops overseas! While singing at the local VFW hall, the ladies stumble upon a huge stash of letters that date back 100 years. Inspired by what they find — funny, sexy, romantic and poignant — they put on a show that celebrates the men and women who fight to defend our country.

Each year twenty-four professionally-acclaimed plein air artists will paint at the Polasek Museum and at other locations throughout Winter Park and Orlando. Art lovers are invited to watch the artists at work and attend free painting demonstrations.  Artwork created during the Winter Park Paint Out will be on display as soon as they are completed and dropped off at the museum’s wet room. These wonderful paintings will be available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds going to support the Museum.

Join Boxi Park in Lake Nona April 23 - 26 for an Earth Day-inspired celebration filled with fun and giving back. On Saturday, enjoy free plantable seed papers (while supplies last), plus a bubble party, face painter, and balloon artist from 1 - 5 pm, along with 5% of food sales benefiting Make-A-Wish Foundation. Then keep the fun going with Family Funday on Sunday, bring the whole crew and celebrate with us!

The Christ School Middle School Theatre presents Willy Wonka Jr., a magical, fast-paced, colorful musical adventure that brings Roald Dahl's beloved story to life on stage at Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater! The World’s Largest 3-Day Motorcycle & Music Event is back and bigger than ever! Join us in Downtown Leesburg on April 24, 25, and 26, 2026, for three action-packed days of live music, high-octane entertainment, and all things bikes!

Join us on Teacher’s Day for a special family art adventure! Children will create their own mini cameras, then explore our four museums and gardens to ‘snap’ photos by sketching on film strips. Afterward, we’ll ‘develop’ the sketches in the garden and turn them into a tiny accordion book that fits inside the camera. Enjoy a picnic afterward at Quinn Strong Park to extend the day!

Month of Jazz at Timucua Arts Foundation: Anthony Stanco, a trumpet virtuoso from Southeast Michigan, draws from Detroit’s rich musical legacy, mentored by Marcus Belgrave and Rodney Whitaker. A seasoned performer, he leads his quintet and has toured internationally, performing at venues like the Java Jazz Festival and Cairo Jazz Club. Stanco served as a cultural ambassador for the U.S. State Department, sharing his music from South Africa to Indonesia.

Jeff Rupert is a Yamaha performing artist, record producer, recording artist, freelance tenor saxophonist, full-time professor, Director of Jazz Studies at UCF. He leads the Flying Horse Big Band, and maintains a busy recording and performing schedule with his quartet, and as an in-demand sideman and band leader with a variety of notables. A gifted composer and arranger, Rupert is well heeled in jazz traditions from his many experiences over the years playing with greats like Benny Golson, Maynard Ferguson, and Kevin Mahogany, to name a few. Local Blueberry Farms will sell berries freshly picked from their farms along with fresh blueberry products. Crafters and vendors, live music, blueberry beer and wine and a daily blueberry pie eating contest will round out the event. The festival is FREE to attend. Discounts to local U-Pick blueberry farms will be offered during the weekend.

The 41st Melbourne Art Festival will once again be held at beautiful Wickham Park in Melbourne, FL April 25 & 26, 2026. The 64th Apopka Art and Foliage Festival will be held at Kit Land Nelson Park in Apopka April 25-26, 2026. The festival presented by the GFWC Apopka Woman’s Club and the City of Apopka showcases the work of juried artisans and crafters, and top foliage growers from Central Florida. Highlights will include a spotlight plant, music, food, a wine and beer garden, and a kid zone.

The local Blueberry industry is celebrated during the peak of Blueberry season in Lake County at this annual event. Local Blueberry Farms will sell berries freshly picked from their farms along with fresh blueberry products. Crafters and vendors, live music, blueberry beer and wine and a daily blueberry pie eating contest will round out the event. The festival is FREE to attend. Discounts to local U-Pick blueberry farms will be offered during the weekend.

The 41st Melbourne Art Festival will once again be held at beautiful Wickham Park in Melbourne, FL April 25 & 26, 2026.
