For Now It's Business As Usual For Universal Orlando Resort Ahead Of Tropical Storm Nicole

As Tropical Storm Nicole continues on a path towards Central Florida, today, Wednesday, November 9, Universal Orlando resort has announced that its business as usual at its theme parks, resorts, and CityWalk, for now!


The park confirmed that park operations and hours will continue as normal, but they did advise that they are closely watching the approaching storm, and advise that they will issue further updates as Nicole progresses.

Tropical Storm Nicole is forecast to strengthen into a Category 1 hurricane Wednesday on its path toward Florida.


The latest track from the National Hurricane Center shows Nicole strengthening into a hurricane before making landfall on the southeast coast of Florida, impacting our immediate east coast in Brevard and Volusia counties and in the Orlando region.


As of Tuesday, Nicole's maximum sustained winds are at 65 mph.
