One of the best beaches in the world according to Tripadvisor is right here in the Sunshine State in the Tampa Bay area.

Tripadvisor has unveiled its annual list of the best beaches in the country and the world, with Siesta Beach in Siesta Key, Florida ranked number 9 in the world and number 2 in the U.S.

Also included in the top 10 beaches in the U.S. list is Hollywood Beach in South Florida which was ranked the fourth-best beach in the country.

The No. 1 beach in the world is Praia da Falésia in Portugal, and the top beach in the U.S. is Ka'anapali Beach in Hawaii. 

With quartz-crystal sand as white and soft as powdered sugar, Siesta Beach in Sarasota is no stranger to being recognized as one of the top beaches in the country, and is continuously voted by travelers as one of the 'Top Beaches in the U.S.'
