Get ready for the first ever Pirates and Parrots Festival on the beautiful waterfront park, Evans Park in Mount Dora.


The Pirates and Parrots Festival is a tribute to the late great poet and songwriter, Jimmy Buffett, featuring a day filled with live music, tropical vibes, and endless fun. 


Entertainment features Live Caribbean Soul Music from Propaganjah starting at 2 pm, befroe teh main event, a Jimmy Buffet Tribute Concert featuring the original Jimmy Buffett Tribute band, The Landsharks at 7 pm.

The Landsharks

The Landsharks are THE original Buffett tribute band. Hand picked by Jimmy himself to play regularly as the house band at Margaritaville, the Landsharks were constantly complimented by Jimmy and even enjoyed some shows with Jimmy joining them on stage to perform.


The Landshark's credentials are impressive. The Landsharks have played all over the world, including shows at The Super Bowl, in Disney, at Universal Studios, Margaritaville, MGM Studios, and at major concerts, with major name acts including Jimmy Buffett, The Beach Boys, Bob Marley's Wailers, Patti Labelle, Pablo Cruise, Alan Jackson, Black-Eyed Peas, Three Dog Night, WAR, Inner Circle, The Tams, The Swinging Medallions, and more.


Propaganjah

Propaganjah is the definition of caribbean soul music. This 5 member band loves to jam and bring their smooth sounds to life. You will be chillin' and feeling like you are sitting on a sandy beach in the caribbean with the reggae like music. Come relax and listen mon!


This festival is being held as a fund raiser by the Firefighter Charity of Central Florida.


Funds raised from the concert will go to support our local community programs as well as help clean and protect our waterways with our donations to local charitable organizations that have this focus and drive.
