In late July Space X is planning to launch a Falcon Heavy with it's EchoStar JUPITER 3 Broadband Communications Satellite payload, and while SpaceX has not announced an official launch date or time, in anticipation of this exciting launch, Kennedy Space Center have launched a viewing package that will put you as close to the launch pad as possible!

Visitors can now book the "Feel the Heat" package that gives the opportunity to sit front row for the launch of the SpaceX Falcon Heavy EchoStar JUPITER 3 mission.

The Feel The Heat Viewing Package will allow you to get as close to the launch pad as possible. You will view the lunch from the Banana Creek Launch Viewing Area at the Apollo/Saturn V Center which is approximately 3.9 miles from the launch pad.

From here, you will see the rocket leave the pad! Plus, gain exclusive access to the Apollo/Saturn V Center exhibits and attractions during the launch window.

The package includes:

  • Launch viewing packages support two launch attempts and an additional one-day admission ticket that is valid to use within 30 days after the launch date.

  • Bus transportation through NASA’s gates to the Apollo/Saturn V Center

  • Real-time launch commentary from a space-expert

  • Complimentary meal

  • Complimentary premium souvenir

  • A commemorative launch card, badge and lanyard

  • Digital photo of your party from AstroPhotos

The price of the package is $250 plus tax, which is available online only.

By purchasing a package, all launch viewing packages are mission-specific. SpaceX Falcon Heavy EchoStar JUPITER 3 may occur on any day of the week and any time of day or night.
