Fat Rosie’s offers a $40 Three-Course Dining Experience in Waterford Lakes Town Center

‘Taste of Rosie’s’ Features Ceviche, Salmon Poblano, Oaxacan Mole and Cream-Filled Churros through Oct. 15.

With Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining wrapping up on September 30, East Orlando diners still have a little more time to take advantage of a $40 three-course dining experience.

Fat Rosie’s in Waterford Lakes is offering its limited-time “Taste of Rosie’s” menu through October 15, giving guests another two weeks to build a three-course meal for $40.

The limited-time menu showcases more than the usual tacos and margaritas, with choices including ceviche with mango and avocado, Salmon Poblano, chicken enchiladas topped with Oaxacan mole negro, flan and Bavarian cream-filled churros.

For $40 per person, guests can build their own three-course meal by choosing one antojito (appetizer), one plato (entrée) and one postre (dessert). The six-item lineup offers guests a chance to explore a wide range of dishes with the lively personality the East Orlando restaurant has become known for.

Available through October 15, Taste of Rosie’s includes:

Antojitos (Appetizers)

• Ceviche Tradicional (GF): Shrimp and fish tossed with pico de gallo, cucumber, mango, red onion and avocado, served with crisp corn tortillas.

• Flautas de Pollo: Two crispy chicken taquitos served with guacamole, green salsa, sour cream and queso fresco. 

Platos (Entrees)

• Salmon Poblano (GF): Grilled seasoned salmon served over creamy poblano sauce with grilled zucchini and Mexican rice.

• Enchiladas de Mole: Three corn tortillas filled with wood-grilled chicken and topped with Oaxacan mole negro, queso fresco, sour cream, toasted sesame seeds and red onions.  Served with rice and beans on the side. 

Postres (Desserts)

• Flan (GF): Traditional Mexican vanilla custard topped with caramelized sugar and fresh berries.

• Churros: Two fried pastries filled with Bavarian cream, tossed in cinnamon sugar and served warm with dulce de leche.
