Orlando offers a spook-tacular choice of spooky fun for the kids, with events and celebrations for all the family to enjoy.
Halloween is a spook-tacular time to be Orlando, with many of the top scare events and spooky season attractions in the country happening throughout Central Florida, and while the majority of events are perfect for adults, they are not so much fun for the little ones.
BUT... No need to worry, because the theme parks and attractions offer a great choice of not-so-scary events that have been designed especially for families to enjoy.
In addition to the theme parks and attractions, there is a great choice of community events and celebrations too!
To help you discover the best family-friendly events that the kids will love without getting scared, we've compiled a list of all the family events that are taking place in Orlando to celebrate Halloween, and as we get closer to Halloween we'll keep adding tol the latest spooky things to do.

August 15 - October 31, 2025, Select Nights
Delight in a spooky atmosphere and frightful fun at this year's Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. this spirited after-hours celebration takes place at Disney's Magic Kingdom, taking place on select nights now through October 31, 2025, from 7pm to midnight.
Enjoy spellbinding entertainment including exclusive shows, a spooktacular parade, explosive fireworks, your favorite Disney characters dressed in their Halloween best, trick or treating, and so much more.
Look forward to new magic at this event in 2025! Meet Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse together at Town Square Theater. Rediscover Storybook Circus—transformed into a happy haunt for families with younger children. And have monstrous fun at ZOM-BEATZ BASH—a dance party inspired by the film ZOMBIES 4: Dawn of the Vampires. Plus, popular party experiences will return!
This limited-capacity, nighttime event allows guests to experience shorter wait times on attractions, while enjoying themed food and beverage, exclusive merch and more.

SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular is back with fun surprises, candy, costumes and more!
Kids love trick-or-treating (with purchase of reusable bag) during this daytime event as they explore the decorated trail through Key West and around Dolphin Theater where they will meet colorful characters. and enjoy sweet surprises.
This year be sure to check out all the immersive family Spooktacular Festivities, includng the Sesame Street Halloween Parade, Halloween Storytime with Big Bird, Halloween Cookie Decorating, Scarecrow Halloween Dance Party, Halloween Kids Crafts, and more.
SeaWorld Spooktacular runs select days, August 30 - November 2, and is included with park admission.
September 6 - October 26, 2025, Saturdays & Sundays
This Fall, step into a whimsical world full of enchantment with Kandy, Busch Gardens resident witch-in-training! A costume parade, story time and trick-or-treating are some of the activities guests will find in this immersive Halloween experience. Busch Gardens’ Kandy's Sweetacular Celebration will be casting magical spells from 12 – 4 pm each Saturday & Sunday on the Festival Walkway.

Ahoy, mateys! Gather your crew and join the Pirates of the Haunted Seas at SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium. Embark on an action-packed voyage with Halloween fun as you meet the legendary Captain Sebastian and uncover the secrets of the deep in this haunted underwater adventure — with surprises waiting around every corner. Best of all, your pirate adventure is included with regular admission!

Ready your souls for monstrous family fun as Brick-or-Treat bewitches LEGOLAND Florida Resort this Halloween season! Swoop into the spellbinding spirit with LEGO brick-bursting fireworks, ghoul-tastic shows and experiences, tidal waves of candy, wickedly delicious treats, and exclusive LEGO characters!
Select weekends this fall, the party kicks off as Monsters take over LEGOLAND and host the Halloween party of the year featuring: Live Entertainment & Shows, Limited-Time Attractions, Character Meet & Greets, award-winning Monster Skytacular drone show, and of course, Trick-or-Treating!

Screamin' Green Hauntoween returns for spooky family fun! This event is CHALK-full of spooky happenings: a themed scavenger hunt, spook-tastic crafts, character photo ops, and more! Plus, every weekend enjoy trick-or-treat stations! There is so much to "BOO", you may never want to leave. ALL Included with general admission at Crayola Experience in The Florida Mall.

The entire family will have a spooktacular time as Brevard Zoo' in Melbourne hosts its beloved family-favorite Halloween event, Boo at the Zoo. Grab your costumes and enjoy trick-or-treat stations, Halloween-themed decorations, spooky photos ops, eerie music & special performances, activities, and of course — all your favorite Zoo animals, with everything included with park admission.
October 11 - 26, 2025, Oct. 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26
Gatorland, the “Alligator Capital of the World,” is bringing back its popular Gators, Ghosts and Goblins™ Halloween event for a seventh year in a row of family fun and fright done right! Enjoy Hauted Trails, plus interactive characters, animal meet-and-greets, photo ops, a Children’s Halloween Costume Parade with treat bags for all kids who participate! There’s also fun shows, Live DJ, a variety of specialty vendors, games, candy giveaways, and more! The daytime, family-friendly event, included with park admission.
HAUNTED ATTRACTIONS FOR KIDS
Year Round Attraction
Mortem Manor is located at Old Town, Kissimmee. Are you ready to experience Orlando's only year-round haunted attraction? For little kids no way, but the attraction is suitable for children 13 and older.
Journey through Mortem Manor, two floors of an old victorian themed haunted attraction filled with scares, thrills and fun. Featuring live actors, animatronics and state-of-the-art special effects.

A Petrified Forest is a home grown community attraction, offering three intensely horrifying scare trails set in a genuinely spooky forest location covering around 2 acres, and is not recommended for little kids, but the popular halloween attraction offers for one day only, a kids day that is perfect for the whole family to enjoy!
Make-A-Wish Kid's Day offers family fun in the spooky sun for your little ones from 9 am - 12 pm. The event includes a trick or treat trail, bounce house, costume parade, games, prizes & more. All proceeds go towards Make-A-Wish of Northern & Central FL. $5 per entry - tickets available to purchase at the door only.
KID-FRIENDLY HALLOWEEN EVENTS
September 25 - October 31, 2025, Select Dates
On select nights from Sept. 1 through Oct. 31, Pirates Dinner Adventure will host Vampirates, a Halloween-themed dinner show suitable for ghouls and goblins of all ages. You’ll witness daring stunts, dynamic duels and sensational swordplay, all while enjoying a three-course meal.

Join Longwood's annual Halloween Dance Party for kids and teens ages 4-18. There will be light refreshments and candy, an audience-judged costume contest for ages 4-8, 9-12 & 13-18, dancing, and entertainment by D.J. Dennis
October 11 - 12, 2025
Audubon Park Garden District will host two days of spooktacular fun, starting with Zombietoberfest Eve. This family-friendly event includes a spooky concert, a free outdoor screening of The Goonies, special Kidstoberfest activities, costume contests, and live music from The Gorefathers. Come back on Zombietoberfest Day to shop local at the Daywalker Market.

Experience the Promenade at Sunset Walk’s Halloween Pumpkin Patch and select your perfect pumpkins to take home. Capture the family in the fall photo opportunity, complete with a John Deere Tractor and Scarecrow! Enjoy live music nightly and over 30 amazing restaurants, dessert options, shops, and experiences.

Come out to Reiter Park on Saturday, October 18 from 3 - 6 pm for truck or treating with a variety of trucks, and other vehicles, free candy for children, bounce houses, food vendors, and much more. Activities include a children's costume contest, Truck-or Treating, Bounce Houses, Games, Free candy for the children, Vendors, and much more.

Halloween is celebrated for 10 days – not just one -- in Winter Garden! Hosted by the City of Winter Garden, the annual Halloween Experience provides FREE, fun, family-friendly festivities in Downtown Winter Garden, including several nights of an outdoor animated Halloween Light Show on City Hall, a hay maze, fall/spooky-themed photo locations, decorations and light displays throughout downtown, a Halloween Celebration at the fall-themed Farmers Market, and more!

Enjo a SPECIAL evening at Movie Night in The Park, hosted at The Oviedo Amphitheatre in Center Lake Park! The movie, CoCo kicks off at dusk. Be sure to bring along your favorite blanket or comfy lawn chairs for a cozy viewing experience. To snag the best seats on the family lawn, arrive early as spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. This special Halloween Edition of Movie in the Park will include Trunk or Treat, Costume Contest, Movie in the Park, and Food Trucks.

Boo on Broadway is back for another night of spooky fun in Historic Downtown Kissimmee on Friday, October 24 from 6 - 9 pm.
