Experience Kissimmee brings THE ROAR of the Jaguars to Celebration High School

The Jacksonville Jaguars ROAR Cheerleader team joined the Celebration High School cheerleaders and football team to offer support and spirit for the upcoming season.
Under the Friday Night Lights in Celebration, Florida, THE ROAR of the Jaguars made a surprise appearance at the home opener of the Celebration High School (CHS) football team.
This surprise event is part of Experience Kissimmee’s ongoing partnership with the Jacksonville
Jaguars and reflects our shared commitment to uplifting local communities and promoting youth
sports and leadership.
On Friday, August 15, THE ROAR cheerleaders took to the field supporting CHS cheerleaders,
cheering on the hometown team. The two cheer squads hyped up the football team through
the tunnel and performed the school fight song.
Just a three-hour drive from Jacksonville, THE ROAR participated in its third annual retreat to
Kissimmee.
In addition to the game appearance, the ladies attended a mocktail class at Melia
Orlando Resort, enjoyed an airboat experience at Wild Florida Adventure Park, and hosted a
watch party for the Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New Orleans Saints game at Eagles Edge at Omni
Orlando at ChampionsGate.
“We have enjoyed working with the Jaguars and THE ROAR over the last two seasons. We
both love supporting local communities and youth sports, so bringing them to Celebration, in
Kissimmee, aligns perfectly with our partnership. This surprise and delight was a wonderful idea
for our local community, and we are thrilled to make this happen,’ said Jessica Beers, Executive
Director of Strategic Partnerships at Experience Kissimmee.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to visit CHS and share in the excitement of their home
opener. Our annual team retreat with Experience Kissimmee continues to be a much-
anticipated event for members of THE ROAR. Visiting CHS was a full circle moment for so
many of our cheerleaders who began their journey to THE ROAR as high school cheerleaders,
and we thank Experience Kissimmee for making it all possible,” said Christy Stechman Zynda,
Director of Entertainment Groups and Grassroots Events for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
