Experience history with a haunting twist at the Orange County Regional History Center this spooky season!
On Friday, October 25, 2025, from 5 - 9 pm, you’ll step into the past like never before in an evening of immersive storytelling, interactive activities, and unforgettable encounters.
During the History Center's History After Dark: Halloween Edition, explore the museum at your own pace as historical figures roam the halls, ready to share their stories and secrets. Get hands-on with artifacts and games or uncover the hidden tales of Central Florida through our exhibits.
This month, the History Center is summoning all goblins and ghouls for a chillingly fun evening! Kick off your spooky weekend with adult-centered thrills – test your luck at eerie games (with prizes), uncover spine-tingling surprises in a scavenger hunt, and hit the dance floor to shake your tail feathers. From ghostly encounters to haunting history, this spirited night at the History Center offers something for everyone.
The evening’s schedule:
5-9 p.m.: During the whole event, enjoy beer and wine, games, and dancing in the Haunted Lodge, plus Tarot Readings by Mystical Harmony, a Spooky Scavenger Hunt, and Historical Hauntings (channeled by local actors). Games in the Haunted Lodge feature prizes from local businesses.
5 & 6:30 p.m.: Guided tours of the museum.
6 & 8:30 p.m.: Mock trials in our historic courtroom.
7:30 p.m.: “The History Behind Central Florida’s Spooky-Themed Attractions,” presented by our historian, Rachel Williams
Tickets:
Students $10; Adults $20.
Advanced ticket purchase is strongly encouraged.
