Expected Impacts Of Tropical Storm Nicole In Orlando Theme Park Area

Tropical Storm Nicole is is expected to become a hurricane ahead of its projected landfall, and is now a large, dangerous storm and is expected to have major weather impacts on the Orlando and Kissimmee area in the coming hours.


Whether you are a local or a visitor to the area, here's a look at how the storm could impact the area surrounding Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, and SeaWorld Orlando.


If you are in Orlando, Kissimmee, or Lake Buena Vistas, you will already know that the weather conditions are worsening, with the outer rain bands of the storm already in the area.


So how bad could the storm be? Well, we will see gusty winds and lots of rain over the next two days.


From Wednesday afternoon through Thursday, wind gusts could be up to 80 mph and rainfall up to 6 inches.


Also be aware that as weather conditions deteriorate, power outages are possible.
