Founded by Jason Jones in Plant City, Planes, Trains & Automobiles (PT&A) began as a hometown celebration of aviation and innovation — and has grown into one of the Tampa Bay region’s most beloved family events.

What started as a simple idea to bring airplanes, classic cars, and model trains together for a day of fun has evolved into a hands-on showcase of transportation, technology, and community spirit.

if you've never been to this fun event before, its worth the trip! Plant City Airport is transformed into a wonderland of motion — where the skies, rails, and roads all converge in one spectacular celebration.

Bring the whole crew — toddlers to grandparents — to explore amazing aircraft, a HUGE car show, immersive train displays, military and first responder vehicles, hands-on STEM stations, bounce houses, food trucks, and more.

The purpose of the event is to give families an affordable day together discovering the wonders of transportation, introducing them to not only aircraft and aviation opportunities at their local airport but a wide variety of "how things work" displays and fun educational activities to capture the imaginations of our local youth.
