Due to yesterday's inclement weather in Central Florida, NASCAR announced that Sunday’s DAYTONA 500 has been postponed until today, Monday at 4 pm, with the NASCAR Xfinity Series race that was postponed from Saturday due to start at 11 am, creating the first-ever Monday doubleheader at Daytona International Speedway.

Now, due to inclement weather again this morning, Monday, Feb 19, NASCAR has once again shifted the NASCAR Xfinity Series United Rentals 300 start time to approximately one hour after this afternoon’s 66th running of the DAYTONA 500.

The adjusted start time for the Xfinity Series race will now be approximately 9 pm ET.

The DAYTONA 500 remains at 4pm ET, live on FOX, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

DAYTONA 500 ticket holders take priority for seating until the completion of the NASCAR Cup Series race. Following the DAYTONA 500 checkered flag, fans who do not have United Rentals 300 tickets will need to sit in seats not occupied by United Rentals 300 ticket holders.

If you have a ticket to BOTH races, you may sit in the seats you have for each race.

Parking lots are already open with venue gates, hospitality, and the Hardrock Bet Fanzone opening at 10 am.

Hard Rock Bet Fanzone ticketholders for either event will have track access for DAYTONA 500 pre-race ceremonies.

The DAYTONA 500 will be live on FOX, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

Daytona International Speedway has been home to the DAYTONA 500 since hosting the inaugural event in 1959. Traditionally held every February, the DAYTONA 500 is NASCAR's biggest, richest and most prestigious event of the year and the season-opener to the NASCAR Cup Series.

Staged on the historic 2.5-tri-oval, the 200-lap, 500-mile event has been captured by racing greats such as Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt, Cale Yarborough, Jeff Gordon, Dale Jarrett, Bobby Allison, Mario Andretti, A.J. Foyt, Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Joey Logano, and Austin Dillon.

Fans from all 50 states and more than 40 different countries flock to Daytona Beach every year to see which driver will be the next to hoist the Harley J. Earl trophy as a DAYTONA 500 champion.
