Disney's Hollywood Studios to celebrate 35th Anniversary with Special Event and Exclusive Merchandise

Disney's Hollywood Studios celebrates its 35th Anniversary on May 1, and will celebrate with a special event for guests, and new limited-time merchandise.

WOW can you believe that Disney's Hollywood Studios is soon to be 35?!

Guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 1st will have the opportunity to celebrate the 35th Anniversary with a special celebration event featuring Disney leaders, the Walt Disney World ambassadors, and of course, Mickey Mouse and his pals!

The 35th celebration moment will begin at 11 am in the the Theater of the Stars on Sunset Blvd.

In addition to the special celebration event, guests can look forward to exclusive 35th Anniversary merchandise including a limited-edition Loungefly backpack.

On May 1, 2024, guests will have the opportunity to purchase the limited-edition 35th-anniversary apparel, collectibles, and limited-release pins to commemorate the occasion.

The merchandise will be available within the Stage 1 Company Store on Grand Avenue near MuppetVision 3D. Disney.

A virtual queue will be in place for this shopping event.

To join the virtual queue, download the "My Disney Experience" app and enable location services. Once installed, navigate to the "Virtual Queues" section to secure a spot in the virtual queue.

Be aware that merchandise availability is limited, and joining the virtual queue does not guarantee access to the exclusive items. Plus, Disney have indicated that purchase limits will be applied to ensure that as many guests as possible can purchase merchandise.
