Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park to close on Thanksgiving Day due to Low Temperatures

Disney’s winter-themed water wonderland, Blizzard Beach Water Park is to remain closed on Thanksgiving, due to expected low temperatures.

Walt Disney World have announced that everyone’s favorite winter-themed warm water wonderland, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park will remain closed on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 23, due to forecast low temperatures.


The park will be closed for the entire day, on what will be one of Walt Disney World's busiest days of the year, with forecasters predicting a daytime high of only 71 and a very chilly low of 59, with cloudy and slightly windy conditions.


The park is currently scheduled to reopen on Friday, November 24, but this is subject to change depending on the weather, with Friday currently forecast to have a high of 70 and a low of 60 with some showers expected.
