Disney’s Blizzard Beach & Universal's Volcano Bay to close on Dec. 6 - 7 due to Low Temperatures

It might just be starting to feel a lot like Christmas, as feels-like temperatures will be in the 30s across Central Florida this week, with the low temperatures forcing the closure of two area water parks.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach

Last week, November 28 and 29, Disney's Blizzard Beach and Universal's Volcano Bay, we're both forced to close due to low temperatures, and as temps drop again, both water parks are closing once again.

As a cold-front rolls into Central Florida, Blizzard Beach, and Volcano Bay will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 6 and Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023.

Both parks are set to re-open on Friday, Dec. 8, but this is subject to temperatures rising.

Orlando's rollercoaster weather will see temperatures dip and rise throughout the week, with our just past weekend's highs in the mid 80s dropping to the 50s on Tuesday morning, then on Wednesday, the highs will be back in the 60s, before a shivering drop into the upper 30s, low 40's on Thursday.
