Dharma Southern Chick'n has joined Valhalla Bakery as part of the Cheney Collective in East Orlando.
Not so long ago, popular vegan diner, Dharma Southern Kitchen had three thriving locations, with outposts in Sanford and Tampa, which both closed last year, and a location within Market on South in Mills 50, which closed earlier this year.
Dharma went quiet for awhile, until earlier this year when they revealed that they were opening a new location.
They also announced a change in name to Dharma Southern Chick'n, with the restaurant concentrating on fried chicken rather than its previous expanded menu which included pulled jackfruit BBQ sandwiches, po’boys, and chilli dogs.
Fat forward to today, Wednesday, June 21, and Dharma Southern Chick'n has soft-opened in the Cheney Collective on Old Dixie Highway, teaming up once again with fellow former residents of Market On South, Valhalla Bakery who opened in the Chesney Collective on June 3.
Dharma Southern Chick'n say that their soft open Horus are Wednesday through Sunday, 11 am to 8 pm.
Fellow Cheney Collective residents Valhalla Bakery opened in the building in early June, with owner Celine Beltgens serving up her delicious square doughnuts, and more.
