Cooler Temperatures forcing Disney's Blizzard Beach to close for 4 Days!

Don't get too comfortable with the mild temperatures in Central Florida as a cold front is set to drop temps into the 30s forcing Disney World's water park to close.

Orlando is enjoying mild temperatures, but as we get ready to countdown to 2024, cooler temperatures are set to plunge the city into the low 40's by the time we welcome the new year, forcing Walt Disney World to once again close Blizzard Beach for four days.

As Walt Disney World continues to see huge crowds for the holidays, Disney's Blizzard Beach will be closed from Thursday, December 28 - Sunday, December 31, 2023

The reason for the closure is simply because it's going to be too cold!! Thursday afternoon, temperatures will cool into the upper 60s with lows into the low 50s by Thursday night.

Friday and Saturday will see daytime highs in the low 60s, with nighttime lows forecast to be in the low 40s. For Sunday, New Year's Eve its more of the same, with the advice being to wrap up warm if you're out and about celebrating, as temps are expected to be in the low 40s as the clock strikes midnight!
