Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs had been getting hot under the collar as their AC unit was broken, but the popular bakehouse has solved the problem and its back open!
Gideon's Bakehouse has been closed the last few days causing much sadness to everyone who has been looking forward to the launch of Gideon's September limited edition treats, but the good news this morning, Sunday, September 3, is that the store has re-opened.
While Gideon's devotes could get their hands on Gideon's yummy treats at the bakeries original location at the East End Market on Corrine Dr, Orlando, for many a visit on the first of the month to Gideon's at Disney Springs is a monthly tradition.
Gideon's Disney Springs location had to close on Friday, September 1 due to the stores A/C unit not operating, and while they battled to get it repaired they had to close the doors as temperatures reached 100 inside.
Dideon's posted the good news on its social channels:
"Gideon's at Disney Springs will reopen today! I got absolutely flooded with supportive messages over the last three days, and I am grateful for your kindness. There's nothing quite like the weird little Gideon's community. Special love to my team for pulling through. Thank you, as always Patrick, for pushing so hard. Those who have had the pleasure of meeting him know he's a rare gem to the universe. Byran and the kitchen team killed it (per usual) and kept the glory of our East End family moving at full speed throughout the madness. It was one of those events that tests you, and it's a gift to see people that care shine so bright in our forever darkness."

Lemon Poppy Crumb Cookie AKA Bonnie's Cookie!
An updated version of Bonnie's Original, this Cookie is a muffin lover's dream! Gideon's start with the OG Lemon Poppyseed Cookie filled with Poppyseeds and pockets of White Chocolate. Then they top things with a new covering of Lemon Butter Crumbs covered in a thin Sugar Glaze!
Orange Pecan Chocolate Chip AKA Stuart's Cookie Returns!
This popular flavor is a Vanilla Bean Chocolate Chip Cookie infused with Orange magic and topped with our favorite Dark Chocolates, delightful South Florida Pecan Pralines, and a very special Candied Orange Peel given to Gideon's by Stuart himself. They don't know where he gets them, but he assures everyone they're organic!
This month's Limited Edition Cookies are available while supplies last each day at both locations throughout September. Limit two per person.

You can visit Gideon's in Disney Springs, Sunday to Thursday 10 am to 11pm, and Friday and Saturday 10 am to 11:30 pm.
