Coliseum Of Comics Great Pumpkin Patch Fundraising Auction grows even bigger!

More art pieces arrive for Halloween-Themed Art Auction beginning Saturday, October 10.

Art covered pumpkins continue to arrive at Coliseum of Comics HQ for their Great Pumpkin Patch fundraiser, a unique Halloween-themed auction event to support the Hero Initiative and the Book Industry Charitable Foundation.
Artists whose pieces have made it to Coliseum for the auction include Jeffrey Brown (DARTH VADER AND SON, VADER’S LITTLE PRINCESS, the STAR WARS: JEDI ACADEMY series,) Kieron Dwyer (CAPTAIN AMERICA, AVENGERS, ACTION COMICS,) Phil Hester (SWAMP THING, GREEN ARROW,) Mike McKone (PUNISHER, TEEN TITANS, EXILES,) Adriana Melo (BIRDS OF PREY, DOCTOR WHO: THE NINTH DOCTOR, WITCHBLADE,) Graham Nolan (co-creator of Batman villain Bane, BATMAN, DETECTIVE COMICS, HAWKWORLD,) Robbi Rodriguez (co-creator of Spider-Gwen, SPIDER-GWEN, BATGIRLS,) Paola Seeley (Chicago artist & gallery owner,) Tim Seeley (NIGHTWING, HACK/SLASH, G.I. JOE,) and Andy Smith (CLAW THE UNCONQUERED, QUASAR, X-O MANOWAR.) Artists also currently slated to participate include Ben Glendenning, Christopher Herndon, Megan Hutchison, and Joseph Michael Linsner.
Once they’ve been returned to the comic chain headquarters, the seasonal decorations will be auctioned off via Coliseum of Comics’ eBay store - https://www.ebay.com/str/coliseumofcomicswarehouse - beginning this Saturday, October 10, with 100% of the proceeds split between the two charities. Coliseum will absorb all costs associated with this event.
“We wanted to do something fun to support these two great charities,” Coliseum of Comics owner Phil Boyle said. “With these artists’ original work in high demand, we expect fans to want these unique Halloween pieces.”

Founded in 2000, the Hero Initiative is a charity for comic book creators, providing financial, medical, and career support when unexpected hardships arise. The Book Industry Charitable Foundation (BINC) - established in 1996 - aids bookstores and comic shops and their employees who have a demonstrated financial need arising from hardship or emergencies.
