Cold Front forces major Orlando Water Parks to close Tuesday

Despite Orlando being busy with Spring Break crowds, two Orlando Water Parks are closing Tuesday.

Cold Front forces Orlando Water Parks to close Tuesday

As we race towards Easter and temperatures improve, an unusually cold day is expected Tuesday, March 19 here in Central Florida, forcing two major water parks to close.

As a cold front passes through Central Florida overnight, wake up temps in Orlando on Tuesday morning will force temps down into the upper 50s, with Aquatic Water Park at SeaWorld Orlando and Volcano Bay at Universal Orlando remaining closed on Tuesday.

Highs on Tuesday are expected into the mid 60s, with overnight temps back into the 50s again overnight into Wednesday, however temps will rebound into the mid 70s Wednesday afternoon.

As of right now both water parks are scheduled to reopen Wednesday, but this is subject to change depending on the temps.

Currently Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is scheduled to be open 10 am - 5 pm Tuesday.
