The Mount Dora Scottish Highland Festival is an exhilarating weekend filled with bagpipes, highland athletics, celtic music, dancing, a vibrant tartan parade, and thrilling pipes and drums performances, and more

This year's Mount Dora Scottish Highland Festival takes place from Saturday, February 21 - Sunday, February 22, 2026, with the MountDora ScottishHighland Ceilidh taking place the night before, on Friday, February 20.

Kicking things off Friday night with a high-energy Scottish Ceilidh at the Mount Dora Music Hall at the Community Building. Live Celtic music, Highland dancing, and a packed room set the tone for an unforgettable weekend.

Then the celebration continues Saturday and Sunday throughout downtown with Highland athletics, bagpipers, live Celtic music, dancing, heritage experiences, vendors, food, and plenty of Scottish pride filling the streets. One weekend. One festival. Plenty of reasons to make plans in Mount Dora.
